The following all have 25c or under 9/6 JoB and/or 8/5 BP and are on LV Blvd. or within a few blocks of it. Some might be walkable from the Flamingo weather permitting.

Ellis Island - 25c 9/6 JoB and 8/5 BP - About three blocks from the Flamingo Casino

Silver Sevens - 25c 8/5 BP - Another couple of blocks from Ellis Island

Bellagio - 25c 8/5 BP on Triple Spin Poker - On LV Blvd

Cosmopolitan - 10c 8/5 BP 100 Play - Beside the Bellagio

NYNY - 25c 9/6 JoB and 8/5 BP - On LV Blvd a few blocks beyond Cosmopolitan

Tropicana - 5c/25c 50 Play and 10c/25c 100 Play - Across LV Blvd from NYNY

Circus Circus - 25c progressive and Dream Card 8/5 BP - several blocks north of the Flamingo on LV Blvd

Note that you can play any number of lines even just one on many specialty games like Triple Spin Poker and 50 and 100 Plays.

See vpFREE2.com for locations of machines within the casinos like this page for Ellis Island - http://www.vpfree2.com/casino/ellis-island-casino-brewery

Another alternative would be to take the Harrahs shuttle to the Rio
and walk across the street to the Rio or Palms. . . . . JH

Re: [vpFREE] Vegas strip

Another choice would be to take the free Sam's Town shuttle from
Harrrah's. Then you could walk between Sam's Town and Eastside Cannery
a block away.

I see the lists but it seems most of the decent places are well off the strip. Any advice?

Re: [vpFREE] Vegas strip

The closest place to the Flamingo with good video poker would be the Palms and the Gold Coast which is across the street from it. The Gold coast has a free shuttle to and from the forum shops.

Hello all,
I am going to be on the Vegas strip (flamingo) for 5 days next week. It has been a while and I don't have the bankroll I once had so what's the best on strip casino (or closest to it) for quarter VP (bonus poker or JoB). I see the lists but it seems most of the decent places are well off the strip. Any advice?

Thanks

[vpFREE] Re: Vegas strip

police - play as little as possible at flamingo. The last time I was in Vegas that place was horrible. No 9-6 JOB. Since play at any CET is counted even though you're staying at another CET property try Bally's or Caesars which have 9-6 JOB. The machines however are $5. Play the same amount of action as you would play at flamingo. This shouldn't take a lot of time (good) and you should have plenty of time to play at better places. The Palms is ok and it's semi-nearby. Try downtown for good games. Stations casinos have ok games. Good luck police.
