I don't know, in modern times, if an electronic funds transfer would also be acceptable (that might generate no bank fee, and might be able to be executed online without a trip to the bank). You may need to talk to someone besides a host, such as someone in accounting or a cashier supervisor or something to find out your options.
20 buy-ins is a pretty pessimistic bankroll -- I hope I never lose 20 buy-ins in a single trip! But if it makes you feel more comfortable, I do understand the importance of having plenty of money to back up your game. Most players with $6,000 are going to be in the 2-5 no limit games, but whatever...

Thanks for the response. Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs offers cash advances which are based on credit score and come with fees. I can see if a line of credit is the same as cash advance or if there are fees associated with that. I can also ask to speak with a host.

I just used an example here. For those curious, the max buyin for 1/2NL is $300. Covering 20 buy-ins is a decent bankroll.
