Yea, every time I talk to a vp player they are pros. The only advantage play there is the lack of players for the drawings. I always see the same people winning. I wouldn't automatically assume a regular is a pro. I have had winning years there and Im far from a pro. The HRH does make many mistakes on their machines and promos though so there is some money to be made there if you're lucky.
If you already dont know, they DO back off players.

[vpFREE] Re: Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas Quarterly offer has arrived
Re: [vpFREE] Re: Gambling with an Edge --- July 12
Stoxpoker is defunct, and nearly all my videos there disappeared with it.
I'm now with Cardrunners, but I've only made a single video for them so
far, though I plan to make more.
Chance of being on GWAE this week has dropped a bit as I had a solid day 1
and am up to 84k chips from the starting 30k.

I'm not using their last names because Mr. X got upset that I used his real name in a post a few months ago.
There are a group of pro's that I see there EVERYTIME I'm there, and I only visit monthly.

That is usually what happens when you no-mail anybody that is playing more than $10,000 coin-in in a day at your casino, even if they just started playing and you don't have enough evidence to correctly determine whether the player is an advantage player or not.
The casino at Hard Rock is just a front anyway, the drinking and partying is the source of the bulk of their income.

[vpFREE] Peppermill Reno Question
I have a question about Peppermill in Reno. I am well acqauinted with Peppermill - I am also well acqainted with vpfree2Video Poker - I use it and rely on it often.
My question, from actual sighting: does Peppermill Reno have any DDB VP 10/6, or 9/6, or 9/5? None of these are listed on vpfree2 for Peppermill. However, my experience over the years tells me that everything is not always listed, especially if there are multi-game machines. So tell me, what have you seen? (I know Atlantis has DDB 10/6 and downtown has DDB 9/6).
Thanks. vptrainman

Just received my out of state quarterly offer.
Same as previous quarterly offers:
2 free nights, weekends included
2 free admissions to Vanity
Buy 1 spa treatment, get 1 free
I no longer am receiving any free play or free food. When I was getting the
monthly mailers, I was receiving 50 in free play and 25 in free food.

Yes, the over-100% payback machines are excluded from promotions. In
addition to those, all the games on any machine with NSUD are supposedly
excluded from promotions.
Somewhat recently they also had 9/7 TDB in the high limit room that was
excluded from promotions. I did not find these there today.

Is it just the games above 100% listed as 4 coin in per pt. or are some of the other games also non-promotional?
[vpFREE] Re: Gambling with an Edge --- July 12
It's a win-win situation. We either get Ed or Arnold. I've read a couple of Ed's poker books and was highly impressed. The guy is just a great teacher. Were I back in Las Vegas I would mostly be sitting in the small blind no-limit games (described as $1-$2 and $2-$5 blinds). And you can bet Ed's books would be on my nightstand.
I pulled up Ed's wiki and discovered he is part owner and a poker teacher online at Stoxpoker. I now have an online site to recommend to kid's today who ask me how they can learn no-limit holdem.
