[vpFREE] Re: Dancer Discussion Moved to FREEvpFREE

And when you're done bashing Dancer, be sure to give Scott, Curtis, Rubin, Thorp, and countless other authors (who have unwittingly(?) alerted myriad casinos regarding advantage players and their tactics) equal time and treatment.

RE: [vpFREE] Revel Promotion---failure to match

No, it was a mailed offer and it simply states "please accept our offer of free slot play" on such and such days

So are you saying that it was NOT a MAILED offer? What do you mean the "freeplay occurred because of some other issues"? It is my understanding that the match offer was only good for MAILED freeplay offers. If you got that freeplay because they were fixing an issue you had with the casino then I would think it would not be eligible at all. From what I am hearing it sounds like you are pretty lucky they gave you the $250.

Here's the deal, Neal. The important issue is not whether you are a cheapass or not. The important issue is that you are being foolish. You fancy yourself a "pro-vp-player", but aren't clued in enough to understand the repercussions of stiffing the help. Trust me, that kind of philosophy will bite you in the ass, I promise you. It may not be fair, but it will bite you in the ass, someday, fair or not fair.

A live poker analogy, try playing live poker for a living and see where stiffing the dealers gets you. And YES, I realize it is SIGNIFICANT money getting tipped to poker dealers. Imagine how it would help your bottom line if you could stiff dealers without repercussions. But the real world ain't like that. A disgruntled dealer will someday foul your hand, "accidentally". Or there will be a dispute at the table and the floorman will be summoned. Guess who is going to lose the controversy. YOU! That's who. And there goes all those little saved dollars, right down the shitter. lol

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Plaza/LVC

Tipping $5.00 just because your at the Wynn is a waste of money. What do
you mean you have to do it to "get them interested?" Do you have to stand
up and waive a $5.00 bill just to get them to come over and take an order?
Makes no sense what your saying. I was at the Wynn a couple months ago.
They came around and asked me if I wanted anything. I didn't have to
waive any $5.00 bills to get service nor did I tip $5.00 and they came back.

$1.00 afterward.

FYI, all tipped employees in Nevada are paid full federal minimum wage
before tips. So after tips, they should be well into the double digits, I
would hope. They are way better off than most casino markets. And just for
water bottle, I may not be tipping either. CW's always have extras of
those. I'll tip for anything else though.
