Feedback on various hotel forums re Pala suggest that they now restrict bringing any alcohol into your room.

Some early posts suggests this pre-dates COVID-19.

Since reopening after the COVID shutdown,  some Southern California casino hotels are now conducting luggage searches when checking into a room.  Specifically I have seen this at Pala and Sycuan.  Just curious what are they now searching for?

Has anyone been to the Rocky Gap Casino in Flintstone MD?  It's not listed on vpfree website.
