Dear vpFREE Administrator,

I know that from time to time people take the time to criticize your
efforts, for one reason or another.

But at this Holiday time of the year, I think that I'll take the time and
make the effort to thank you for your hard work in keeping these forums a

Re: [vpFREE] DIAD ?s

Yeah from what I remember, DIAD is for first-time Diamond only, so I'm
pretty sure you're not qualified. Also note the DIAD must be done on a
single property.

From what I can remember, Horseshoe Hammond is the best place to get DIAD...a lot of people on these forums don't eff around with DIAD they go straight for 7*...

[vpFREE] DIAD ?s

Hi there,

I have some Caesars (C) Diamond in a Day (DIAD) questions, but don't know much about that world as I should so I'll lay what I can out here to try and best explain my specific case.

My past and present:
I was a Diamond (D) the old-fashioned way (video poker, over an extended period of time) but let it lapse this year.  The last valid D card I had expired in 3/11.  Right this second I have a Rewards Credit (RC) Balance of about 25K points and a tier score of about 3K (most of that would be from table poker).  The C web-site says this puts me 1K tier points off Platinum.

I'm assuming it's still best to do DIAD in January (I'm also overly familiar with the beyond-awesome VPfree2 casino listings).

Given this, I would like ANY help or guidance with the following:

* Are there (or will there be) any C casinos that offer bonus/multiplied RCs?  Seems like if you're going to feed a negative expectation machine, you might as well get as many RCs as you can for it.

* I've read statements (although I can't dig any up this second) that are similar to "DIAD is for new D members only."  If this is still true, could this mean that I would not be eligible since I've already lived on the D brick road earlier in my life?

* Are there any of the C casinos (or hosts) that seem to be better/worse or more welcoming/hostile toward people doing DIAD?

Do note that I live in Vegas and that as a lark I'm willing to travel pretty much anywhere in the C system to do this.  If there's something off the beaten path, I may well be up for it.

Any and all responses (even just educated guesses or hunches) are welcome.  Feel free to email me directly if you'd rather not post to the list (I can also send you my phone number if you'd rather talk and not type).

Thanks for reading, a prosperous New Year to you all,
m.
