If you feel that a 98% (doubtful, but sure possible) slot machine is better than a 99.54% (or greater) VP machine I'm not sure what other comment would be helpful.
People play for different reasons... what's yours? Do what makes you happy, seriously, but just don't expect logic to back it up. :)

The 100, 150, and 200 buttons say "higher payback" and the 250 says "highest payback." I thought it was illegal (at leaast in NV) to change the payback for different bet amounts but apparently not. I'm wondering if anyone has heard of graduating paybacks and what the range might be from lowest to highest. The IGT web site says that this game has paybacks from 85% to 98% but is that the range from the 50 credit bet to the 250 credit bet? I don't see how this machine could advertise a specific payback percentage since they don't know what the average size bet would be. BTW, the machine was "The Little Shop of Horrors" and I won $630 on a $2.50 bet, more than I've won with larger bets on VP in 2 1/2 years. It took 20 minutes for the bonus to playout. Needless to say, I'm even less inclined to play VP now.

The coast casinos and Station casinos ( among many others) cover palm beach day and evening and derbey lane dog tracks. they used to be house bets they are now pari-mutal just like horse tracks.

Does the GC sports book have wagering on dog tracks? Some sports book don't

Of course graduating paybacks is legal. Think VP - you have a better royal
pay on 5 coins than on 1 coin, right? Hence a better payback %.

Re: [vpFREE] Main St Station Host
Same here with the lousy booking experience, hosts at MSS are rude and never
answer emails. Fed up, I just booked a room at the nearby 4 queens for labor
day weekend. While I like MSS more than the 4 Q's, the Q's offer is so much
better anyway. RFB, $150 food ah Hugos, $100 free play, etc - and they
really want and appreciate my business. Sorry Boyd - you lose !

[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 27 JUL 2011
I am Frank Kneeland and I support this article.
There are only two points that I'd like to comment on. The title I told Bob I wanted for the show, "The Good, The Bad, The Formerly Ugly Now Surgically Enhanced" was never intended to be serious. I was Joking. Apparently, somewhere along the line Bob thought I wasn't kidding. The true title I had wanted was, "What Happens in Vegas".
And lastly, I did not personally want to bring on cocktail waitresses and their ilk. I suggested it because I thought it was what the public wanted...even then I was only willing to try it if it was good for ratings.
Hope you all tune in for my last show tomorrow.
Cheers,
~FK
