slots have quick turnaround, casinos are always looking for something
shiny and new to draw players in. video poker, you can keep the same
old Game King running for years, even decades.

if a casino does put in a new VP machine, it'll likely be a multiline
game, and multiline video poker is patented by Action Gaming and
licensed exclusively to IGT.

given that, it's not surprising at all that most slot companies don't
bother with the VP market.

Yes, I saw PKM there recently, two old non-TITO uprights and four newer slant-tops.
 
Someone mentioned the Classic Poker machines at the Fiestas and Stations. I have yet to see any 99%+ paytables on these.

They were moved a few rows back from where they were in the past. If you were not aware of that perhaps you missed them. As VPFREE2 says, they are now closer to Marinelli's, instead of being near Baby Cakes, as in the past.

[vpFREE] News of Greg Rainney's Death

 

Some of you may remember Greg. He was a skilled VP player and was a member of this forum, I believe, in years back. I hadn't seen him for several years but I hear he had been in bad health for quite awhile. I heard from a mutual friend the sad news that he had passed away about a month ago.

Sunset Station and Fiesta Henderson has pick-em on their Classic video
poker machines, at Station they are by Fatboys, at Fiesta Henderson , they
are by the escalators circling a fake tree. Machines are very slow.
