I have never had a Palms card; in fact, I've never set foot in the Palms, not even to use my LVA 50 percent off coupon or my ACG 3X coupon. I'm staying at the Gold Coast for a couple of days late next month, so I'm thinking about going in there to take advantage of the promotion. (I know I have to take out the free play in three installments, but I go to LV several times per year, so that shouldn't be a problem.)
I know there has been much discussion over the gutting of the VP at the Palms, but my game of choice is 9/6 Jacks or NSUD, both of which they seem to still have there. With those coupons and the new member promo, those games would be a decent play for me.
What concerns me is that I know some machines are excluded from promotions, so I'm curious I can use the 3X points coupon and, more importantly, the promo free play, on those machines.
Thanks in advance.

[vpFREE] Re: "Exotic Escapes" Plaza deal was a scam
Have you ever played the bank of PROMO machines at Casino Royal because that is all those vouchers are good for. You can win a 2 for 1 beer if you are lucky.

Just wondering, why would Casino Royale free play be worthless?
They have 99% VP, which is has an EV of $297. Even if it could only be used on slots with a HA of 15%, the EV of $300 in FP is 255.

[vpFREE] St. Louis Trip Report
Hi Gang:
Hedy and I returned from our Seven Stars Level II trip to St. Louis on
Sunday and it was an unforgettable visit, for a number of reasons. The Arch,
the brewery, the food, the gambling ... it was all so memorable. We even were
graced by a visit from the "royal family." You can read all about it (and
look over some pictures as well!) on my web site right now. Just log onto
_www.tomthebombpicks.com_ (http://www.tomthebombpicks.com) and click on the
trip reports page. We know you'll enjoy it.
Regards,
CoachVee & Hedy

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Trump Plaza AC
I agree. I live about 10 minute's from Parx, and never go there except to use free play. I think there best machines are 9/6/4 double bonus, or something like that. And the food options at Parx are lousy. Just one overpriced fast-food joint and a chain restarant. Most places in Atlantic City have 9/6 Jack's or Better or 8/5 Bonus Poker. It's worth the extra hour drive for me.

Well, AC gets a lot of criticism. But unlike the Strip every casino has 9-6 machines at dollars and or quarters.
Compare that to the Harrah's block on the Strip.
AC has like an 8% casino tax while PA has a 55% tax-so I would put my money on AC keeping better games, promotions, etc. into the future.

[vpFREE] Re: mss scratch cards
If you have a large (>10) stack of cards to redeem, they will usually check the backs for the dates. One or two or five tends not to trigger this response. So if you have a card you forgot to redeem on a previous trip, try turning it by itself or with another current card.
BTW, a $5000 card was given out on last Friday, 3/23. I was there last weekend and accumulated about 70 cards - 2 @ $3, the rest at $2.

As mentioned earlier, the Plaza unfortunately did not know about this offer when it went out through Living Social and Exotic Escapes. This has created unnecessary issues and we are looking forward to additional resolutions soon. As soon as they are made, they will be posted here.

[vpFREE] Re: "Exotic Escapes" Plaza deal was a scam
Thank you for posting this.
I called the plaza and confirmed this, a manager told me it was possible that " Exotic Vacations" was not as fortgcoming as they should have been about this deal. He said the freeplay and shows are not at the Plaza.
I cancelled my deal with Living Social.
