[vpFREE] vpFREE Posting Guidelines - 1 NOV 2015

vpFREE Posting Guidelines - 1 NOV 2015

http://www.west-point.org/users/usma1955/20228/V/POL_P.htm

1. Everyone should read and be familiar with the vpFREE
FAQ before posting messages on vpFREE Forums.

2. Every message's subject line should accurately identify
the content of the message, to facilitate faster navigation
by interested or uninterested members.

3. If you reply to a message and change the subject matter,
either start a new thread (preferable) with a new subject
line or rename the subject line to reflect its new focus.

4. When replying to messages, quote just enough of the
previous post to maintain continuity. Delete the rest of
the previous post.

5. When replying to messages, clearly differentiate the
previous message(s) from your comments, so that it will be
easy to identify who wrote what.

6. Never post lengthy copyrighted material verbatim without
permission. This includes posts from non-vpFREE internet
forums. Instead, post a link to the material and/or a
summary. Short, credited excerpts may be quoted.

7. Don't use any vpFREE member's real name, even their
first name, on any vpFREE forum unless they themselves use
their real name there.

8. As a spam prevention measure, no one can upload to the
Files Directory on the vpFREE home page unless they get
temporary upload access from the Administrator.

9. Casino personnel probably monitor vpFREE Groups so posts
containing sensitive information should take this into
consideration.

10. Members are expected to observe the rules of
Netiquette , and to practice politeness and show good taste
in their vpFREE posts.

11. Any post that disagrees with vpFREE Dogma and
reaches contradictory conclusions, should be supported with
significant, persuasive documentation. Generalizations and
limited anecdotal evidence aren't persuasive.

12. Most vpFREE members rely on the forum for accurate
information, and may misunderstand, misinterpret or be
confused by tongue-in-cheek posts which are presented as
fact. Always make it very clear in your posts if they are
tongue-in-cheek, by using "smilies", stating that you're
kidding or something similar.

13. Use FREEvpFREE for any political, religious, or smoking
vs. non-smoking discussions. Non-partisan status reports
about smoking and non-smoking availability in casinos are OK
on vpFREE.

14. Promotional Posts - The preferred method for marketing
products and services on vpFREE is an un-obtrusive link
underneath the signature at the end of a post and/or
advertising on the vpFREE Exchange. In addition, a member
may make a maximum of one vp-related promotional post in any
6 month period.

15. If you have Yahoo administrative problems, send a
private email to the Administrator, after you have checked
the vpFREE Yahoo! Administrative Problems Directory.

16. Let the Administrator do the administrating. Send any
comments, questions, suggestions or disagreements about
vpFREE policies or procedures to the Administrator via
private email or post them on FREEvpFREE.

[vpFREE] Re: Ultimate X Video Poker

A dealt royal following a dealt full house would pay 480,000 coins on a ten play. Frequency of occurance would be about 2.4 billion, I think.

[vpFREE] Re: What is most memorable hit, not counting first royal?

When my wife graduated from slots to vp, she didn't hit any top jackpots for a year. Sometime in the 80s. Geez, that's a long time. However, my rule, "all news can't be bad news". A visit to Bally's A C she hit, finally. A quarter Royal. 20 minutes later a five of a kind on AC Joker poker. She was happy.

That was so far back there were no 9/6 JOB until soon later, Taj installed first bank of 9/6 $1 coin only. They had 10 or 12 in bank. When I discovered them, I immediately made Taj my home casino. Dennis Gomes, a former Mirage guy, was manager of gaming at Taj then, I believe. Thus, I went to AC for more than conventions and beach. At 00.62% CB plus bounce back it was a good place to spend time.

Cheers....Jeep

Still long for old days...

Yeah, I hit a royal on Pick'em once too, it was kind of special. It was on an online casino. They paid me very fast, congratulated me, and then permanently locked my account. lol

[vpFREE] Re: What is most memorable hit, not counting first royal?

been a couple, saw a lady next to me hit the royal on the 9/6 job progressive at the old westward ho but was only playing 3 coins, she said because an "expert" said so, guess who, she then proceeded to demand the casino pay her for the full amount. So funny

I hit 4 ducks on NSUD 3 times in 45 minutes at the fireside lounge on 3 different machines. Kept moving because couples wanted to sit together.

Hit 4 ducks twice 3 hands apart waiting for my ex to get ready to leave

[vpFREE] Re: Ultimate X Video Poker

We have the game at local casino 1c to 25c & I check it once in a while. Actually hit 2 ryals a while back, one times 2...unfortunately both 1C. Was at Joliet, Ill a coupla years ago. They have(had???) 25c & $1. I ran thru the games, on a Fri. nite , I think. When I came to $1, I thought to myself....surely someone playing $1 has sense enuff not to leave multipliers...nope, there were some, so it cost me $50 to play the 10 hand DDB. I don't even remember the result so it wasn't memorable.

Didn't I read on here a coupla years ago that someone hit the "ultimate"... dealt full house followed by dealt royal, but I think it was 1 or 2 C??
