When my wife graduated from slots to vp, she didn't hit any top jackpots for a year. Sometime in the 80s. Geez, that's a long time. However, my rule, "all news can't be bad news". That was so far back there were no 9/6 JOB until soon later, Taj installed first bank of 9/6 $1 coin only. They had 10 or 12 in bank. When I discovered them, I immediately made Taj my home casino. Dennis Gomes, a former Mirage guy, was manager of gaming at Taj then, I believe. Thus, I went to AC for more than conventions and beach. At 00.62% CB plus bounce back it was a good place to spend time.
