I would be willing to bet that the costs of the cards themselves, the employee costs to distribute the cards and the lost hold from play waiting for cards to be distributed add up to as much or more than the money that is redeemed from the cards.

That's about as safe a bet as I could ever come up with. A steady downgrade in all benefits is as close to a sure thing as you can get with Boyd.

[vpFREE] Change to Main St. Station Scratch Cards

 

I was informed today that the new packs of 25c and higher MSS scratch cards will have some that are $1. This is down from previous minimum of $2. Supposedly they will have more of the $3 and $5 ones to compensate.

I got five of the new ones today and they were all $2. The new cards look slightly different from the old ones.

No change for the 5c scratch cards - still $1 minimum.
