Re: [vpFREE] Red Rock

Copied recent discussion.  Perhaps this described your situation.

IGT Advantage is the trademark of their player tracking system. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Subject: [vpFREE] IGT Advantage Player Tracking 2.01.07

I stopped by Barley's Casino today and was walking around looking at the games. They have converted to the new Stations system where when you insert your player card a window opens on the left of the screen to show your points etc. When this window is closed there is usually an open/close icon followed by the word welcome. I noted on one machine instead of the word welcome the slot tech must have messed up the setup and it was alternating between the messages "IGT" "Advantage Player Tracking" "version 2.01.07". This was on a game that had a top denomination of $5 video poker. I wonder how wide spread this system is and how accurate it is at identifying Advantage Players.

Has anyone had a message in the bottom left-hand corner of the Next Gen II VP machines here that indicated "Advantage Player"? I had a isolated incident where this occurred.

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.

[vpFREE] Re: Losing $1 for every tier credit on a 99% machine :(

I suppose you could back off a bit on how you define "approach".

You could say 3SD less than 1% of the total return, in other words in this case your 3SD range would be 98 to 100% return.

3sqrt(variance x hands) < 1% of hands

hands > variance x (3/1%)^2 > 2,610,000

still a big number, and 98% to 100% is still a big return range, and at 3SD you still have some outliers (about 0.27% of results)

On avg, how many hands are needed to approach the machine's 99% return?"

At what point is 3SD only 1% of the EV?

0.01x0.01xhands = 3sqrt(29xhands)

hands = 29((3/.0001)^2) = 26,100,000,000
