They said they were taking me into the CM's office to p/u the letter they had for me. You can't be argumentative and the smart move is to stay calm and cooperative. It really seemed like the dummy security guards were hoping I gave them trouble. The incident was written up in my Gaming Today article, the casino complained about my version, then it ended. I feel like I won.

I think the lawyers all say that you should never agree to go to any backroom or office out of the public eye and away from cameras. That's usually where the bad stuff happens. If they don't want you to play, ask to cash out your comp and leave. If they won't let you cash out your comp, call gaming. You have their number on your cellphone, right? As long as you haven't committed a felony, they can't detain you, that would be false arrest.

This is common behaviour everywhere among old and wealthy men. Many don't bother with the marriage issue either. For some reason old and poor men don't seem to have as many willing partners or maybe their partners are just using birth control.

Why would you find it strange, especially in Las Vegas, that a wealthy man in his late 40's would father two sons with most likely a much younger woman?

[vpFREE] Majestic Star 2 Machine Inventory
Today, I went through the entire VP inventory for the Majestic Star 2.
Thankfully (for now) every "playable" machine before the move still exists.
Two new machines with 9-6 Jacks and 9-7DB, one each at the 25c and $1 level
were added. In a few cases, the machine numbers have changed. In a few
cases, slant-tops have been changed to uprights. The $5 progressive has a
sign on it indicating in will be pulled about 7/17/11. The 9-6DB Progressive
has still not been turned on.
My location nomenclature is as follows:
Looking into the room from its entrance.
Rear is where the rest rooms are.
Left Wall is wall pass the cashiers that starts with "Big Times Pay".
Right is the wall forward of the stairs.
Left and Right Carousels are those closest to the walls.
Slight Left and Slight Right Carousels are those closest to the center.
Database has been completely updated. If anyone finds an error then please
let me know.
Thank You everyone for your help.
admin vpfree2. I still think that Super Triple Play 7-5 SDDB is not in the
lists of big games. At 99.056% it is the best game on machine #7943. When
the Rivers Casino - Des Plaines, IL opens in about a month you might want to
let me handle that database as I live in Des Plaines, IL about four miles
from the site.

[vpFREE] Council Bluffs Trip Report
Hi Gang:
Hedy and I are back from a three-day trip to the Harrah's/Horseshoe
properties in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and we are hoping and praying that the good
people of Iowa and Nebraska get through the trying time they are
experiencing right now.
The Missouri River is cresting and the height of the floodwaters around
Harrah's riverboat and hotel is reaching scary levels. The bottom level of the
parking garage adjacent to the riverboat is covered by six to eight feet
of water and the parking lot at the rear and to the right of the hotel is
completely under water. It was strange to see only the tops of the trees in
this lot and the upper half of the the light stanchions. The levees are
holding so far but there was a breach of a levee to the north in Hamburg and
many people were forced to evacuate their homes.
Everywhere we looked during our stay we saw sandbags being laid out around
electrical facilities and Thursday when we left to fly home we saw crews of
men laying sandbags around the lower levels of the hotel.
The College World Series is scheduled to open tomorrow at the new TD
Ameritrade ballpark across the river in Omaha and they were hoping that they
wouldn't have to reschedule or move games to another site due to flooding.
All in all, it was very disconcerting to see. So, again, if anyone on this
board is living through this nightmare, we wish you only the best.
As far as our trip was concerned, Hedy and I decided to throttle back a bit
and play the 10/6 DDB machines on the Harrah's riverboat at the 50-cent
level almost exclusively. We also spent an afternoon at the Horseshoe and
played triple play Super Times Pay 9/6 DDB at the quarter level. The first day
and a half were fairly unproductive but late on Tuesday we hit aces a
couple of times for $400 each and things got better from there.
Hedy got aces and a kicker twice on STP for $500 each and we continued to
hit low quads and aces over the last day and a half of our stay. The bottom
line was a fairly substantial win for the level at which we were playing,
so it turned out to be a good trip, financially speaking.
Also noteworthy was the fact that the Diamond Lounge has been relocated to
the top deck of the riverboat and is much larger and much more comfortable
that the one previously located next to Aces Diner. It features a number of
sofas, couches and large screen TV's as well as a shuffleboard table. It
was open for a continental-style breakfast every morning from 10-11 and then
lunch/dinner was provided.
The food was fairly good, especially the last two days when they offered a
tasty teriyaki chicken dish over rice and then baked pork chops with BBQ
baked beans. Nothing really fancy, but satisfying nonetheless.
Thanks to our host, who was very helpful and gracious, we also got two
tickets to see Mumford and Sons, a folk/rock music group from England that
played the outdoor venue on Tuesday night. We had never heard of them but they
sure were popular in Iowa. Their concert sold out in 17 minutes.
We made the trip primarily to see Hedy's niece and her family, who live in
Des Moines. They drove down to meet us and spent the three days with us.
The highlight for the kids (ages 13, 11, 9 and 2) was a visit to the Henry
Doorly Zoo in Omaha. It is one of the top zoos in the country and the kids
... and the adults, too ... had a blast. Since Hedy and I are both Seven
Stars players, Harrah's provided transportation to and from the zoo and allowed
us to use our rewards credits to purchase our tickets. It was also sad to
see Rosenblatt Stadium (right next to the zoo) vacant. The long-time home
of the College World Series is being torn down, we are told, so the zoo can
expand.
We will be back at Harrah's AC tomorrow for a one-night stay then will be
gearing up for the Seven Stars Signature Weekend in AC starting Thursday.
Regards,
CoachVee & Hedy

"That is not backed-off."
Yes, I realize that. That's why I clarified the situation by explaining that I'm being denied slot club benefits.
"Which is completely in their rights..." and the better way to do things than sending a Gestapo squad to "escort" you out the door."
Yes, this is their right.
"...and the better way to do things than sending a Gestapo squad to "escort" you out the door."
I'll leave it to others to debate the better way of denying customers the use of their brain when inside a casino.
Everything I've quoted above of your posts is beside the point I was making.
South Point offers promotions, and when players avail themselves of these promotions, many are denied the promotions in the future.
Yet Dancer can not only continue playing, but also urge others thru his articles to also exploit the promotions.
This is most curious.
RE: [vpFREE] Re: LVSun: Lawsuits pile up as alleged casino assaults continue
Even holding you by the arms and taking you into an office without your
consent is illegal..
I've been at a machine when tapped on the shoulder, & taken into an office
where I was told I was no longer welcome to play on a Strip property, then
escorted out. They even gave me a letter. I swear they were expecting me to
react violently because they insulted me every way possible while 2 guards
held firmly onto my arms, and it was they who prolonged the event, not me. I
might have said 3 words the whole time, and they were not four letter words.
And unlike you, if they thought I cared where I played, they were dead
wrong.

The guy's a moron no doubt about it. Even if you were told not to come back on a prior visit--which isn't clear--he didn't act like a human being. Making believe you're refusing to leave (who would do that anyway?) would be awful difficult to prove once Metro arrived and asked you if that were the case.
Sure all the irritation adds up and adding insult to injury by saying he'll have you arrested boils the blood. But it must have been an off day for you because I'm sure you're usually prepared for that kind of treatment somehow.

The only way I even had confidence that he worked for the casino was the presence of the security guard behind me as we were talking. Among Mr. Stamis' first words, if they weren't his first words, to me were "I don't like you." I accepted him getting personal right off the bat. I accepted him throwing my driver's license on the ground and then telling me that I had thrown it on the ground. I accepted being told to leave. Maybe all of that had a cumulative effect, but there was something about him telling me that if I ask one more question, he'll have me arrested for trespassing that set me off. I didn't think he had the right to do that. That the video shows me on my way toward the nearest exit as I'm telling him my opinion of that statement of his shows how false his main defense that I repeatedly refused to leave is. It took some arm twisting to produce that video.
