Friggin Jerry's Nugget, forever tweeking their system. I'll never get it out of my mind the shit they pulled. I will never be comfortable with that place, even though I was not one to get barred. "Old school" paranoid freak! Nearsighted dinosaur.

Sounds like you've led a sheltered life. Go wash behind your ears, kid.
I'm loving the show too, Frank! Thank YOU!
[vpFREE] Re: Hard Rock is now downgrading single line VP????
Was just there last night and it looks as though almost every bank got downgraded. There is still one bank of 25/50/1 that has 9/7 DB and 8/5 BP. Thats it. I checked some of the multi-line and all were downgraded. The place is almost a wasteland now except for a little bit in the high limit. I let my host know what was going on and he was unaware of all the changes. He was actually upset.

[vpFREE] A General Thank You!
I'm am continually astounded week after week by the amazing people co-hosting our radio show Gambling with an Edge has allowed me to meet and the doors it is opening for me. I'm gambling less than I have in years, and enjoying it more than I ever have.
Many of our guests have personally inspired me, and introduced me to things I would not have otherwise known about. Hosting the show is a constant reminder of my own myopic inadequacy, but fortunately I'm fine with that. I love to learn, and if I only had on people that knew the same things I knew, I wouldn't be learning anything. For me this has been like a paid tuition to the best college with invites to the all private frat parties without any need for hazing.
How cool is that?
After my brush with cancer my life could have gone either way. All of you have helped to make it fun, exciting new again. It could very easily have gone the other way. Two years of inactivity while thinking you are dying left me with a string of bad decisions I thought I would never redeem. I haven't yet, but I can at least see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Just wanted to give you all a big sincere THANK YOU.
This is a great time in my life, thank you all for making it possible.

Subject: [vpFREE] XVP - Belmont Picks
Hi Gang:
Here are my picks for Saturday's Belmont Stakes with an analysis of each
horse. Good luck to everyone. Enjoy the race!!
Regards,
CoachVee
1. MASTER OF HOUNDS (No. 1, 10-1). Ireland-based colt was my pick in
Derby and I like him even more in this spot; Gomez said he was looking
forward to riding him in Belmont minutes after dismounting at Churchill; fresh,
fit and should love distance.
2. ANIMAL KINGDOM (No. 9, 2-1). Has never run bad race and with
little luck in Baltimore could have been chasing Triple Crown dream; excellent
work over track last Monday; deserving favorite.
3. SANTIVA (No. 4, 15-1). Finished in virtual dead heat with top
choice in Derby and should improve third off layoff; ready to run big race at
square price.
4. NEHRO (No. 6, 4-1). Consistent, hard-knocking colt beat all these
except Animal Kingdom in Derby; should be close to pace; include in exotic
wagers.
LONGSHOT SPECIAL: STAY THIRSTY (No. 2, 20-1). Pletcher tries different
rider for colt with distance pedigree; working like champion on this track
since disappointing Derby try.

Re: [vpFREE] Excalibur Incompetence
Something I learned a long time ago when it comes to exactly what you did: NEVER call less than two times if you want correct food outlets comp policy when you do not have it in crystal clear writing.
When calling you could get any of a myriad of incompetents who will usually say almost anything to get rid of you and get on to the next task. Even if it's someone you know, their word alone is no high probability of a guarantee.

I received an offer from Excalibur for 3 nights. $400 in free play, and $300 in dining. I took them up on the offer since I don't play there much. With $300 in dining, I called to ask where it could be used. I was told it was a neighborhood offer and could be used at all the buffets and cafes at Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. Also, it could be used at Red Square, Mix, Red, White, and Blue, the Mexican restaurant at Luxor. We dined at Red, White, and Blue and spent over $200 on dinner. As I went to pay, I was told by the waiter that I could not charge it to the room since the are not owned by MGM. I spoke to the restaurant mgr, hosts, and casino marketing without getting anywhere. Needless to say I will not be coming back!

Jerry's Nugget 3X multiplier applies to comps only, not cashback or points.
[vpFREE] Re: Hard Rock is now downgrading single line VP????
Another place off the list of hot spots to play.
They are committing Video Poker suicide. Big slot tournament there, and if you play 15K you get $50 playcash. So they took out all the machines that you could possibly play.
I really liked it there, lots of nice giveaways, but ... oh well.
Another one bites the dust.

[vpFREE] Reminder: JUN 2011 vpFREE Lunch @ Gold Coast
Reminder: JUN 2011 vpFREE Lunch @ Gold Coast
The JUN vpFREE lunch is scheduled for Saturday 18 JUN at the
Gold Coast Buffet at 11:30 AM. Meet at the buffet entrance.
This is an informal, non-hosted, Dutch treat lunch, and
there's the possibility that no one will show up. Anyone
planning to attend should post an RSVP on vpFREE for
coordination purposes.
Anyone who agrees to host/attend a monthly lunch can select
a different location for that month's lunch, if they notify
me before the first of the month.
In addition, a vpFREE lunch (or dinner) will be scheduled
whenever any member volunteers to be a host and posts the
time and location details on vpFREE. Interested attendees
should RSVP on vpFREE.
Notes: Gold Coast may require a mandatory tip in advance for
larger groups who want to sit together. Buffets are usually
more expensive and lines are usually longer on weekends and
holidays. Send any pictures to me and I'll post a link to
them.

LVA Question of the Day - 11 JUN 2011
Q: I've been watching Vega$ with Dan Tanna on DVD and am
really enjoying it! It's interesting how much the Strip has
changed. I keep seeing the Casino "Silver Bird" and I have
never heard of this one. Could you tell me a little about
it?
