[vpFREE] Downtown Trip Report

Just got back from a few days in Las Vegas. My destination was Main Street Station.

VP
Played almost exclusively $0.25 or $0.50 BP, including Treasure Chest poker. Over three days in my play at MSS I had 20 quads with 18 $2 cards and 2 $3 cards. I had a fun hit on Treasure Chest poker. The $1199 treasure chests do exist! (all other treasure chest hits were for 140 coins)

Room
They put me up in a mini-suite on the top floor (that was a surprise!). The room was big and in good shape - it appeared to have been recently updated. There was a separate sitting room with a table, couch, two armchairs, and a buffet with fridge. The bed was very comfortable in a separate room with two armoires. The bathroom was two areas with a tub and separate changing area, but the shower head was made for somebody 5" tall. The TVs! 17" tube TVs, two of them! Between the old TVs and no internet in the room, they really want you to spend time in other places.

Food
They gave me "free meals" to use at their downtown properties and Sam's Town which consisted of a coupon book good for simple meals, but buffets were extra. I have to say that the MSS breakfast buffet was close to inedible. I asked for Orange Juice and not only was it from concentrate, it was almost fully concentrate. It was like drinking a thick orange-pulp-flavored slurpee. I had to order a water to pour into it.

I LOVE the Triple 7 Brew Pub. All the food there was excellent.

Main Street Station's Pale Ale is one of my favorites anywhere. I'd recommend getting a nice refreshing cup if microbrews are your thing.

I have two coupon books with only one breakfast coupon used if anyone is interested in the remaining coupons, please email me privately. They have three breakfast, three lunch, three dinner, and one premium meal coupon in each book.

[vpFREE] Re: VP analysis software

Thesoftware is used to teach you strategy for mostly brick and mortar casinos but obviously the same strategy applies to online casinos. I don't play online but from what I understand, unless your finding really high progressives it is impossible to ever beat an online casino. You have a much better chance of success in brick and mortar casinos due to cash back, comps, and bonus promos. Plus the experience of getting out of your house and enjoying yourself.

If you are gonna be serious about VP get one of the softwares and study study study. Get perfect before you step in a casino. Learn about bankroll management and how to capitalize on casino promos as well. Good luck!

Re: [vpFREE] Re: VP analysis software

Thank you,

Does this mean that one uses the software to get good at "brick & mortar" video poker?  That is, after training online, one sits down at a video poker machine in a physical casino?

Some online casinos have video poker games.  Is there software to download, to help play these games?  For instance, there are "bots" (robot software) that can play in regular (not video) online poker games, such as Texas No-Limit Hold'em..  Are there any bots that can play video poker, in an online casino?

Thanks again...
