If I recall, it's an old coin-dropper, not a progressive. Nice little club, some good machines, friendly staff, with no slot club. It's worth a look if you're in the area.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: VP Tutor App for iPad

You can modify pay schedules in winpoker.  Just tried it with JOB 6/9 with a payout of 130 for a 4 of a kind (saw that at south point on the triple play $1 machines).

I know of 2 but they are not free.

My preference is Video Poker Wizard from the Wizard of Odds for $10 as an iTunes App. Since I am flying to Nevada each trip it's useful practice and worth it for me. It's an iTunes app. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/video-poker-wizard/id553349826?ls=1&mt=8

Zamzow has a similar product, probably for the same price

Video Poker Wizard has many more games/pay schedules pre-programmed in. I have not been successful trying to reprogram additional pay schedules into Zamzow's product.

[vpFREE] Barcelona VP/NCL Epic

My wife and I will be staying in Barcelona in a few days before boarding our 7 Star cruise on the Norwegian Epic.  Any information on the Barcelona casino or the Norwegian Epic casino, particularly as it relates to video poker, will be appreciated.

[vpFREE] Re: LVRJ: Free WiFi service coming to downtown Las Vegas

I haven't seen a start date for the free downtown WiFi. It was originally supposed to be this summer but since City Council just approved the contract, it may be awhile.

[vpFREE] Re: Caesars Palace increasing coin-in requirement for tier credits

I believe they are lowering the ADT of these machines as well.
Last time I played I checked with the host. I played the same machines the same amount of coin in for the same amount of time. My ADT was 1/2 of the previous visit. So YES everything matters!

[vpFREE] Re: Caesars Palace increasing coin-in requirement for tier credits

I'm talking purely about Caesars Entertainment properties here. How many
points I have is not important but suffice to say over the last 10 years
I've averaged around 350,000 tier points a year and a lot of it from games
that take essentially $45 per point. Every guest has two comp buckets,
and the biggest comp bucket at any given property is the one that the host
controls. Most of Caesars comps comes via mail offers and not from your
comp point bucket. Yes, comp points are important for things like
point multipliers and achieving 7-Stars, but for the rest of it...not all
that much. I know people with Platinum Cards who get bigger offers than
people with 7-Star cards because they've done a better job of managing
their ADT. Keep your player profile as desirable as possible and worry
less about how many points you have. Points are what Harrah's uses to
trap you into playing more than you need to play and you will get more
comps by keeping your comp point balance as close to zero as you can.

How many points do you have this year?

As you described, it would be right if normal is $1 FP for $500 action. Oxford Casino player's club is that rate (one of two joints in Maine).

By the way, Oxford (one year old) just got bought for $160 Million by Church Hill Downs which owns Riverwalk in Mississippi among others.
Casino was built @ $60 million by local influential/affluent nobility.

Not a bad day's pay for Maine.

It takes one dollar for one point and 500 points for one dollar of fp/food comps.....the offer is 20xpoints. I think this is a 4% game of about 102% payback, am I close? Many thanks, Rod
