I'm talking purely about Caesars Entertainment properties here. How many
points I have is not important but suffice to say over the last 10 years
I've averaged around 350,000 tier points a year and a lot of it from games
that take essentially $45 per point. Every guest has two comp buckets,
and the biggest comp bucket at any given property is the one that the host
controls. Most of Caesars comps comes via mail offers and not from your
comp point bucket. Yes, comp points are important for things like
point multipliers and achieving 7-Stars, but for the rest of it...not all
that much. I know people with Platinum Cards who get bigger offers than
people with 7-Star cards because they've done a better job of managing
their ADT. Keep your player profile as desirable as possible and worry
less about how many points you have. Points are what Harrah's uses to
trap you into playing more than you need to play and you will get more
comps by keeping your comp point balance as close to zero as you can.
