the frequencies on regular STP do not necessarily need to be the same as the frequencies on the wide area progressive. But they might. 1/375 means a royal cycle of between 10 million and 15 million hands (depending on how aggressively you played for the royal when 10x appeared --- which might be right.

Can't believe I actually saw a photo of a single line FW Royal !


I 've been playing there a lot . Got lucky with two multilines but have never seen( not just me but on any machine ) a SLRF particularly at the dollar and above level.


Needless to say my luck has been sour there. Was starting to believe my friend who says he would never trust a Native American casino as to honesty.

the progressive keno  at las vegas club on fremont  has not moved a single penny..how does  this happen?. .well over a year. ....that is  the 5 cent keno..maximum amt 20cent bet..I  was able  to hit 9 out of 10,  but other than that ...very tight...the amount never changes. They added a progressive  video poker  pot to the total, and elimated the progressive  poker machine..is this standard in Vegas. .?..in all  of our California  Casino's  progressives  are "hit" often...

Last time I checked IGT MegaKeno starts at 95% and is strongly progressive where the meter really moves, unlike all those weak casino hosted progressives that move at snail's paces. Casinos hate progressives, IGT loves progressives, so obviously eventually all useful progressives will be IGT progressives if this hasn't happened already.

Not that they are anywhere close to being interesting to me, I'm very surprised at how LOOSE these games are.

Wide Area Progressives, like MegaBucks, typically start out at about 85% and go from there.

The 10x multiplier is pretty rare on a regular STP game (I don't have the number off-hand). There is no reason to assume it has the same frequency on the WAP.

I believe the rule is that the top jackpot must have a payout more frequent than 1-in-50 million. Assuming these games have a royal cycle of 32,000 (when there is a multiplier of 10 and you're using a royal-or-bust strategy), this implies that the 10x multiplier must be more frequent than 1-in-1500 hands. I'm curious whether IGT will publish this information.
