I live in NY and only generally go to Las Vegas every 2-3 years. I was there to collect on some coupons, and when I signed up for the slot club they had a good offer for new members. I was able to get $100 in free play for $4,000 coin-in, which is 2.5%. Also it was a Thursday and they had 4x points, so I was able to get 0.4% instead of 0.1%, for a total of 2.9%. I played $1 8/5 BP in the high limit room. It worked out to an advantage of 2.04%, although I was very unlucky and ended up losing $428 altogether with the free play.
It seems that this was a good place to play in the past, obviously this isn't a good place to play now, even with the 4x points offer.
