[vpFREE] Re: GETTING LUCKY

Sam, I have a lot of things written that are in thumb drive. But I've been a slouch these last few years. I'm either getting drunk in a bar or I'm out working it. There doesn't seem to be enough time to write about it.

I need to find a way to convey this old freight tramp's story. I fear that I will die before I can tell the story about how a homeless drifter rose up to become one of the best machine pros in the world.

All of that is on me. I'm really crying and snivrlling about it. How to turn nothing into something is a story the whole world should know.
I really need to hole up someplace and write the story.

Re: [vpFREE] Bob Dancer's LVA - 30 JUN 2015

The really big trick is finding a game that's got a 2% E.V.

2% EV with 28 variance has a pretty nice N0 of 28/.02/.02 = 70,000 hands, so 10 million hands would be almost 143 N0 cycles. There's always a little tail of black swans, but once you get beyond 25N0 it's almost a sure thing, at least your odds of losing are probably less than the odds of getting cheated or robbed in the parking lot or your hotel room.

at N0 (1sd) there is a 15.87% chance of losing
at 4N0 (2sd) there is a 2.28% chance of losing
at 9N0 (3sd) there is a 0.13% chance of losing
at 16N0 (4sd) there is a 0.0032% chance of losing
at 25N0 (5sd) there is a 0.00003% chance of losing

Thanks for the advice, NOTI. I think I will look into that.

BTW, I only had the play in the picture for 2 and a half days. I found it in a dive bar in Deer Lodge. The little joint just couldn't take the losses. I heard the owner on the phone to the slot route operator "Get your *&%&$*^%$#%* asses down here and figure out why I'm getting my *&$$#%()^%$$% ass kicked on this one machine."

Whenever you start writing that book, keep me in mind for editing.

"Highly likely?" Uh, how about more likely or most likely?

mickey writes: "How its done is a question that I will only answer in the future. All you kind folks better hope I die a slow death. If I drop dead of a heart attack you will never get the answer."

You should put it all in a "diary" or personal memoir to be released by your estate only upon your untimely death. Better yet, make sure Bob Nersesian is your estate lawyer, I'm sure he'd know how to handle it. If you wanted to make some money off of the idea now, maybe you can do one of those crowd funding things where they pay you to write it and get a copy only upon your untimely death.
