Re: [vpFREE] Bob Dancer's LVA Column - 5 JAN 2016

Well for what it's worth here's my opinion.

A very interesting article if I do say so.

I don't see a problem with the scenario of asking multiple casinos to pay you off.
I believe that the ethics would mainly come down to the fine print. As long as you aren't doing something that is

excluded in the fine print I can't see an ethical or legal problem.
Presenting a ticket that wasn't used is fraud.
Presenting a ticket for a companion who isn't is fraud.

A.P.

Re: [vpFREE] Offer from Main Street

For the downtown Boyd properties the cap for kiosk multipliers is generally a 100,000 point adjustment. For a 5X multiplier you could therefore play 25k base points maximum and get the maximum 100k point adjustment. For a mailed offer the rules may be different.

[vpFREE] Re: Boyd YAH Wed bonus - 30x VP DOES exist...

Suncoast booted many players during their 10x point promotion a few
years ago. All were playing $2 or higher video poker. I can attest to
the fact that it wasn't just Bob Dancer.

As I recall, one of my royals there was dealt and two others were
1-card draws, such as a suited AKQJ with an off-suit 5. These are
usually 1-in-47 events on average. For me it was probably 2 successes
out of 5 tries, so I hit 3 royals in probably 10,000 hands. (being
over-royaled has certain benefits --- and certain costs. being
under-royaled sucks. Play enough and there will be times you
experience both ends of this. I've never figured out how to predict
when the next royal is coming.) $8,000 jackpots get them excited over
at Suncoast.

Re: [vpFREE] Offer from Main Street

As far as I know, the only machines excluded from multipliers are the
old coin machines that don't take TITO tickets. They have stickers on
them that say they are not valid for promotions. I asked for
clarification on this and found out that they are excluded from
multipliers that we get in offers but we can still earn scratch cards
on them.

From: "stosh21@hotmail.com [vpFREE]" <vpFREE@yahoogroups.com>

Main Street is offering 5x points for VP in February, valid
Monday-Thursday. Small print does mention select machines are not
valid. I'm guessing the invalid machines include the slant tops near
the valet entrance with full pay DB? Is that correct? How about the
JOB at the Boar's Head Bar?
Thanks for any feedback.

Re: [vpFREE] Offer from Main Street

By the way I think that the excluded machines are the ones that are $3 per point, that would include those slant tops, but not the bar, and it would include the treasure chests. I also think that it is possible that all of the coin droppers might be excluded, but that's just a guess.

A.P.

You should also be aware that they usually have a cap on the amount of points you can earn. The cap is usually 100,000 total points, i.e. 20,000 base points X 5 = 100,000 total points. Check at the slot club to make sure.
