[vpFREE] Re: Planned Vegas Trip

I'd second the Four Queens for sure. I've only comped there with mailers, but call and ask for a host and see what kind of daily ci you would need. It can't be much, they and the sister property Binions both sent the wife 2 free nights WEEKENDS and $20 fp for what must have been less than $500 ci. They got your JOB in .25 and 1.00 and a .25 10/7 db prog. They also have ddb at bar with prog. It's not fancy but get a south tower room and you are out of the room and on Fremont in 2 minutes, which I like.

Sure, Boyds is a little nicer. But you are going to have to give them more play.

Don't forget the first time players promo bonus fp ar LVC/Plaza. Best promo I know of. At Plaza play it on .50 JOB right next to the Alice in Wonderland slots. Has the entertainment value of watching asian street bums fight with crackheads over $2 EV.... Bottom feeder slot wonging at it's best.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Aqueduct Racino N.Y. Baccarrat games Random...Might be..

I think I explained , in a previous memo, how easy it would be to write
computer software that did a 12% hold , yet looked random. I'm going to
guess that its the old bait and switch. It may be fair now, but a quick
switch of the ROM's and all of a sudden, everybodys on a losing streak and
you give it all back blaming it on short term luck !

[vpFREE] Re: Planned Vegas Trip

This USED to be true about El Cortez. It was a very nice play for low rollers with 3 free nights at the suites, some free play and food credits..but as of Jan. 2012 it is all gone. You will only get a casino rate offer even if you put through 30k on a weekend as one messageboard poster found out. Haha slap a coat of paint on and revamp your bar and they think they are upscale or something. Good luck with that.

[vpFREE] Re: Downtown Casinos multiple points days?

Yes, Fitz does 5X days for holidays. But you are right it is not well advertised. My mailer says 5X points all St Pat's weekend, it is for all customers.

[vpFREE] sam's town

Stay at sam's town (boyd property) as they have .25 fullpay deuces. They have a free bus to all other boyd properties. You can get a free comp to the buffet every day if you play there. You only have to learn one game to play. The machines are near dunkin donutes.

Maybe because they don't use Live dealers.

[vpFREE] vpFREE Sunshine Policy on GWAE Radio Show

At about the 48 minute mark on the 26 JAN Gambling
With an Edge radio show, Bob Dancer said:

"On vpFREE, which is the video poker bulletin board, people
post games or post information about a good promotion
somewhere. And some people are in favor of everything they
find out they post. Our administrator calls it the Sunshine
Policy. He wants no secrets."

The vpFREE Sunshine Policy was changed a few years ago and
isn't as restrictive as before. It now reads:

"SUNSHINE POLICY: vpFREE members are expected to report
all attractive games they notice in casinos they visit, unless
they believe it's better not to publicize the games, either
for their own benefit or for the video poker community as a
whole."

[vpFREE] Re: Planned Vegas Trip

My wife and I have been "down-towners" for the past 20 years and have settled on the Fremont which we visit 3-5 times a year. We are extremely impressed by the friendliness of the employees. We always use our B-Connected slot cards and do 90% of our VP play at the Fremont although we do enjoy visiting the Cal and Main Street which are within easy walking distance. Normally we eat at the Fremont's Paradise Buffet for breakfast (try the omelets) and dinner (two meals is all we can hold). Rooms are small but always clean and fresh. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Fremont. Captjack47

The February Coast Connection is included in today's Review Journal, and it's a return to the good old days of valuable offers.  Four pages for each casino, 20 pages total. "60 great coupons, more than $500 in value."  Dining, gaming and entertainment coupons, Super Bowl deals, and a good rundown of each casino's monthly promos.  Well worth the $.75 price of the paper .
