Re: [vpFREE] xvp $CDN to $US exchange rates

I was in the golden gate downtown yesterday and they have a sign at the cashier for C$0.98 = US$1 AND a bonus (of free play OR match play [i THINK 5% of the exchanged amount]).

[vpFREE] Re: Trop LV Buy-a-Card

I have seen it on airline reward programs. Those programs have well understood benefits that don't change that much from year to year. But what kind of mailer would you get as a new player that bought a posh casino card? Who would buy it 'blind'?

You can buy the second card level for $5000 or the third card level for $10,000. And if you already have the second card level, you can buy the third one for $5000 instead of $10,000.

[vpFREE] xvp $CDN to $US exchange rates

Anyone know of any good deals on converting CDN to US at casinos in Vegas or Reno? With true rate at about .972 today (Mar 8) , most Vegas casinos offer .95 or less. Any better deal out there?

25 years ago when the rate was .75, some Reno casinos would offer par for $20 limit a day. It was a $5 gift but cut to about $3-4 when coverted back at the bank.

Yes, you can play any number of lines on 50 play (and 100 play) machines and still get 4000 coins for a 5-coin royal.

Look for a button right on the screen at the bottom that says "select hands". By touching it as many times as you'd like, you can select any number of hands, even odd numbers like 33, 14 or 49.

The very earliest versions of 50 and 100 play had buttons on the keyboard (with numbers like 1, 15, 25, 50 hands) instead of the "select hands" button on the screen. There are probably still some of these machines around somewhere.
