If you didn't already know, I have worked extensively with Dan to add some TTT (Team Training Techniques) to the new OpVP. None of which I can discuss until the actual release of his software. So I'll leave you with a Spock quote to wet your appetite, "It's not like anything we've seen before Jim!"

[vpFREE] Re: Gambling With an Edge April 14th
Alright folks everything is uploaded. You all really need to watch the video on Selective Attention to understand what causes Type III errors.
Soon Bob will be doing an article on how to fix them, and we'll talk about it on air. For now hit the trainer, play a little too fast and see if you are missing holds. You'll never detect them in the casino. Didn't see it errors are really hard to detect and fix, but we'll show you how.
You'll also want to download the monthly gambling tracker, which we will explain how to use in great detail next week.
Hope you all like the new ultra interactive bent we're taking with the show. I'm trying to make better use of the Internets.

Ok, thank you, Stan, I guess the site wasn't screwed up, it was me that's screwed up. I found it easily now that I followed your link.
I'm looking for my notes, and at the moment I can't find them. But I know I looked at those machines specifically, and I don't remember them even being a 1% meter. Either way, it must have taken forever for that to get to $4100. Were you the lucky guy to hit it? It doesn't sound like it, but I guess you were there or knew the person who did. Woohoo! That's a great hit! For quarters, Wow!
[vpFREE] harrahs st. louis offer
Just received an offer from Harrah's St. Louis -- free airfare plus up to five nights plus a "free cruise" certificate on Norwegian good until June 2012.
Would appreciate any feedback on how good this offer is...how nice is harrah's St. Louis? How easy is it to use the cruise certificate, etc. -- we've never cruised before, so any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

I could not find it. There seems to be some duplicates in the photo section. Somewhere along the way, the photo section seems to have gotten a little screwed up.
[vpFREE] Re: $2,478.25 royal on .25 progresives!!!!!!!!!!
I posted a picture of a $4161.25 royal that was hit at Sun Coast. Progressive royals over %4,000 occur often enough. You just have to be in the right place at the right time to find them. I see royals over $4,000 a couple times a year on one of South Point's Bonus Deuces progressive banks and I don't go out of my way to look for them.

[vpFREE] Beta testers
Thank you to everyone who responded to my request for beta testers. I
have enough testers for Windows and the Intel Mac.
I could still use a few testers for the PowerPC Mac and for Linux, so if
you have either of those systems you still have the opportunity to get a
free copy of OpVP 3.

[vpFREE] Re: River Rock casino in NorCal
Yeah, I played there a LONG time ago, IIRC they had 9/6 Jacks in 25c and they had decent bounceback...but I only played like 2x a year..cuz it's a 3 hour drive from me (and I can get to Reno in the same amount of time)
But it's definitely in a beautiful location.

[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer's LV Advisor Column - 12 APR 2011
"Bottoms Up" is a reference to how one reads Team created strategies, which were more for training and speed of memorization than the types of strategies Bob produces, which are intended for in-field use.
I've posted an excerpt from my book entitled "Bottoms Up" to explain it in more depth. Go to the April 14th notes section at:
https://www.progressivevp.com/radio_show.php
It should explain everything. They area very different systems and intended for different things.

I cringe, like most of us, when I see 6/9 for Jacks or Better (JoB) or 5/9 for Deuces Wild (FPDW). You just look at the bottoms first, then the tops.

That "Not Held" is a flickering light bulb now turned-on in my head, a novel idea, for teaching TTT. But Top-Down versus Bottom-Up could be a clue about the non-conventinal nomanclutre that you use.

OBTW, Bob's article still has an "F" where a "T" should be, IMO.
Quoting:
"Frank's strategy (using somewhat different, albeit comparable notation to what I use) lists SF4 1i 2h on his chart --- but without the comment 'NEVER HELD.'"
