Certainty Equivalent = EV - VAR/2xBankroll

For Bankroll < 28,832 bets (about 36 royals), AJT9s has a higher Certainty Equivalent

OK, but if you look at the Certainty Equivalence you get something like Bankroll > 33 Royals to hold this 3 card royal over this 4 card flush.

[vpFREE] XVP --- no Bob Dancer LVA column today

 

As announced last week, I will not be posting a column today. I'll be back as usual next week.

Tomorrow's free South Point classes will be beginner Double Bonus at noon and beginner Double Double Bonus at 2 p.m. Classes are held in the Grand View lounge and everybody at least 21 years of age is welcome. LVA accidentally published the classes will be on Tuesday instead of Wednesday this semester. Last week some people showed up one day early. I hope everybody has gotten the word by now.
