They exclude you in the following manner, you swipe the card at the kiosk and nothing shows up in your offers. If you are a glutton for punishment you go and ask for it at the club and they tell you that your are not allowed to get the promotion at management's discretion or whatever other fancy wording they want to use.

[vpFREE] Re: Station Casinos' Next Bonus Point Day
The breakdown is this on bonus point days::
All vp that is not 100% get 6 pts( instead of 3) for every dollar
all 100% machines get 6 points for ever $4 ( instead of 3 points for every $4).
I don't know how anyone could get excluded because you have to activate the bonus points at a kiosk. I believe on the advertised day any body with a boarding pass can activate it.
Except on Senior day ( Wednesday) then only seniors can.

Yes, but players who play substantial amounts on optimal machines (regardless of if its a bonus point day or not) eventually get excluded from future bonus point days.

"Ive been telling everyone how much of a cheese ball operation Hard Rock has
been becoming over the last few years. Its only going to get worse.
Stations, especially GVR is getting really bad now."
By far, the worse of the stations for comps and decent player treatment is
the Red Rock. To give you and example on my last trip , I wagered about
$75,000 over 3 days in a combo of optimum, normal like nsud ( careful, they
dont advertise it , but hate giving comps to NSUD players ), and
slots/dream card. Total loss was $1000 . My offer was 3 free nights. When I
went to the slot host desk the night before checkout, I explained - that I
was checking out 7AM sharp and nobody would be on duty, could they please
take care of my lone measly $65 restaurant charge. They told me ... well,
not really - you see you have not played enough to cover the room. Excuse
me, I told them , the room is free according to the offer. They told me, its
only "quasi-free" , in other words the casino rate on that weekend room for
3 nights is $300, so you have to earn $300 in comps first, before anything
like meals is considered !" Why dont you play some more, and call us
tomorrow after you check out , say 3pm , and we'll discuss wheter we will
grant you the restaurant charge or not. I didn't call back, but I really
dont see how they want to attract out of town customers with F grade slot
host service like that. This was not the first time, its been progressively
going downhill for the last 2 years.
best...Tom

Ive been telling everyone how much of a cheese ball operation Hard Rock has been becoming over the last few years. Its only going to get worse. Stations, especially GVR is getting really bad now. What do you expect when the benefits get cut and people still keep going back for more. The casinos can and are getting away with it. For gods sake I can get better comps on the strip as a local now.

Re: [vpFREE] adelson update...
I don't think this post is fair.
It's also not on topic.
It also violates the guideline of not being political.
Mister Adelson is a huge philanthropist.
Saying he didn't get rich by doing good deeds is
not only unfair, but misleading.
His political 'investments' aren't going for payback,
as it seems the other side plays for. They are
going for less interference with his business.
As far as the paytables, that's what competition
is all about. If Mister Adelson can get more
casino profit using the formula:
[Handle * Hold = Gross Profit], he would.
For where he is, if he lowers his hold
(-Ev + player error) and it increases his
Handle enough, it's worth his while.
Remember, a few board members, wasn't
it Frank K and Bob D, talked the M into
that and they didn't like it.
On the other hand, there are casinos with
over 100% Ev VP games around.
Badmouthing people's success and politics
are probably not going to give an accurate
picture of why they set things the way they
do, and are mean and inaccurate, besides.
From what I hear from bigwig Vegas insiders,
he's a very honorable man who's suppliers
and employees love.
Perhaps instead we could send Ambassador
Frank Kneeland to pitch him on better VP?

Guess what!!! He did not become a zillionaire by doing good deeds. He is
into maximizing returns on investments
If his political investments pay off for him we'll be the ones that have to
ante up ... just like in his casinos.
