I'm rooting for them and I hope it works out. I always liked that place.
Some guy wrote in the comments below the article, if they have set a re-closing date yet. That was cold. lol

Anybody have any luck with these? Sklansky was playing them. I was folding unconnected tens or less from the button, seemed to work.

Hey by the way, Frank, how come Dotty's quit the sponsoring thing? Were they not happy with the advertising results? Was it just a test gig? Did it have anything to do with the "tavern rules controversy"?
You don't have to answer this, if it's wise not to, I understand. I'm just snoopy.

This is great, you guys are getting some big names on the show, I am really looking forward to hearing Max Rubin.
Hey Frank, I wonder if Bill Zender would be a good guest for you guys. He's pretty interesting, I just got his books.

Sound like it was "a play" at about midnight, even for high rollers like you, Frank. Holy shit! $8000 for a quarter machine? Wow! That's almost real money!
Could have fed a lot of stray cats with $8000.

It hit at midnight a little over $8,000 I believe. I just played it to get my 1250 pts and left.
Look, it was never "a play" it was just the best thing in the house to get your daily points on.

People that wouldn't have known it was up right then, that would have noticed it too late to take advantage of it.

[vpFREE] OpVP 3 beta test
Several people who received the first beta test version of OpVP for
Windows did not send a report, so there is an opening for a couple
people who can and will test beta #2 on at least two versions of Windows
and send a useful report within one week of receiving the package.
I also need testers for Linux versions other than Ubuntu and Kubuntu.
If you're interested, please write to Dan@OptimumPlay.com with your real
name and location and the versions that you will test it on (any Windows
2000 or later or any recent Linux).
Thanks,
Dan

[vpFREE] Re: South Point Update
These responses are ridiculous. So what if Frank tells of a high progressive at a casino that most of these board members frequent anyway. I don't think he gave away a 10% play. Royals are luck pure and simple. If you play enough you can hit one. I'm sure a local bar drunk will hit it anyway.
