In an email from my host re an upcoming Harrah's NO event, language is attached which indicates that effective Feb 3 the hotel partner restaurants (Ruth Chris, Gordon Biersch, Grand Isle) require $2 comps for each $1 served.
"Disclaimer: If you plan on having lunch and/or dinner at Fuddruckers,
Lucky Dog, Macalister's, Starbuck's, Bambu and/or Besh Steak, please
feel free to show your card - Cost for meal(s) will be deducted from
your Reward Credit Comp Value. Note: Paper voucher will have to be
picked up from VIP Services [located in the high limit area/next to
cashier cage] prior to lunch and/or dinner for ALL other partner
restaurants. As of February 3, 2011, it will be 2 for 1 in Reward
Credits to eat at partner restaurants outside of those mentioned above.
Meaning: It costs approximately $50 per person to eat at Ruth's Chris
Steak House. Party of 3 USED to cost $150 [out of reward credits]. Now,
it will cost you $300 out of reward credits. [The 2 for 1 out of Reward
Credits will apply ONLY to those restaurants located outside of the
casino.]"
