Re: [vpFREE] Re: Cheapstravaganza pre-trip planning

RF,

Really enjoy the reports. Keep them coming.  You make my day since I am in Afghanistan and cannot go to LV until next year.

This is probably not news to most of the readers here, but here is a primer
on how I go about keeping my trip costs down.

Here's a link to my latest YouTube video; please send to anyone who plays slots or video poker. In fact, anybody you know who finds themselves dragged into a casino, kicking and screaming of course, may want to view. Thanks,  Linda

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Longer Breakaway report

Had it happen to me the first time in Hong Kong in the 90s.
We just left something in the slot when we were gone so
the room and refrigerator would be cold when we got back.

The folks at the front desk told us how.

Temp was over 100f with 100% humidity, so it was mandatory.

This feature has been in use in other parts of the world as well. We
found it in 2 Tahiti's hotels during our last vacation this spring.

[vpFREE] Re: Cheapstravaganza pre-trip planning

I enjoy the trip reports greatly and appreciate the head's up in the forum. I don't understand people that can't skip a message they are not interested in. Why do they think that what they want is more important than anyone else? If they want someone banned then send a message to the administrator and accept the decision.

[vpFREE] Re: Greetings!...........am in deep Mess

I am really sympathetic to this as I too have lost all my credit cards recently, and had to report them stolen.  Although I can't help out with any money since I'm still digging out from all the fraudulent charges, I do have the contact numbers for the major credit card companies for reporting them lost, so if you'll email me all your credit card numbers, I'd be happy to call in for you and report them stolen.  Sometimes they want more information, so please also send your full name, address, social security number, any ATM PINs you were using, mother's maiden name (in case they ask), and anything else you think might be helpful.

I got my yahoo account hijacked a couple of years ago and my contact list stolen.  The above is the exact same form letter they sent to all my contacts.  It even appeared on vpFREE.  I've never even been to London.  However....I'm writing this with tears in my eyes rolling down my cheeks. I'm stuck in Missoula, Montana. I was in a cathouse and got slipped a Mickey, oops.  That name is already taken, er, I got in a fight with this dude in a wheelchair.  He got in a lucky punch.  When I came to they threw me out of the strip joint. My wallet, my roll, and debit cards were all missing.  Please send anything you can afford via Western Union to Missoula Montana.  Use the password "fremontstreetcommando" so I won't have to use I.D. to pick up the money.  I'm hanging on for a response.

[vpFREE] Seven Stars Breakaway Cruise - October

Apparently, there is room on the October cruise.

They are busing people from Atlantic City and back rather than a hotel stay in New York. Also appears that they are picking up all port fees, gratuities and taxes like they did for the August cruise. As well as a drink package and meals at three specialty restaurants. There was no mention of the $200 onboard credit.

You need to contact NCL/Passport Travel at 1-888-509-0519. If they ask for the offer code, you can tell them that you do not have one but they can look it up on your account by giving them your account number.
