I always thought the rule of thumb was that if we didn't need rooms,
then it's better to be a local for bounceback purposes. Theoretically
the money that would go towards rooms would go to free play instead.
That should be especially true for the casinos mentioned because they
are popular with locals. There are probably exceptions of course.

I have friends who want to spend some extended time in LV this
winter. They need some help in finding out what locals casinos send
offers to out-of-towners. They don't need room offers, but are interested
which ones, if any, send bounce-back, food offers, etc. (Stations, Palms,
Boyd properties, Tuscany, South Point, or others?) They could get a mailbox
local address, but I wonder if they would do better to see what they get
with a Midwest address.
