How is this a "winning" moment? Check out this video of a homeless man in PA who returned about $1,500 immediately. That homelessman had no temptation at all since he knew it could be someone's "rent" money (notice the irony).

So how is the AP to handle situations like this in the future? I'm only a quarter to dollar player and doubt if I'll ever be a $5 player. But I'm wondering, for the sake of the big players, what should they do? Should they refrain from playing something that looks "too good"? Or stand back while someone else tests the water first?

So many casinos have been cutting off advantage players lately. I wonder if this was Suncoast's way of identifying and eliminating them?

Just wondered, what sort of denomination and amounts were those people
playing at Suncoast who were 86'd for playing the 10X coupons? Just doesn't
seem like they would kick out most people for playing coupons they
published! Maybe someone was overdoing substantially?

Re: [vpFREE] Freemont Accommodations
about as far away from FSE as you could get (top floor, far corner) and I
could still hear FSE clearly. I did like the location.

I found it interesting that one of the game icons at GVR does not match the associated game. The last game icon is "Suited Royal Bonus Poker Deluxe", but pressing that icon takes the player to Double Double Ace and Faces. The other locations have DDAF too, but with the correct icon. I knew the casino could choose from various games and paytables when setting up the machines, but I thought the manufacturer's program could not be altered. What other cause could there be for this disassociation?

Thanks for this info.
I found these same machines at Red Rock today on four slants between the slot club and sportsbook bar. In addition to the games you listed, they had two more over-99% games, 9/5 TB+ and 9/4/4 BDW.
No sign of $4 coin-in per point on these either.

Oh so THAT'S what happened. Thanks for clearing that up. I couldn't help but laugh at the way you told that story, it was funny.
I guess I missed the scoop about 10/10/10. You're right, that's pretty clueless.
This reminds me of the Jerry's Nugget fiasco. Sounds like it was really handled poorly.

It's good to know, I'm adequately bankrolled for what I presently play. As far as the dollar FPDW play, I should have more correctly expressed my bankroll -- which was about $500 at the time. That's why I played at the nickel level at the beginning.
[vpFREE] Re: attaching w2Gs to return
I used to fill in the TurboTax W-2G worksheet for each and every one I'd received. The past two years, I've filled in one and only one per casino. For the casinos from which I received more than one, I created a "summary" W-2G. IRS processed both returns without even a whimper.

To use the SunCoast as an example, they say "Let's have a 10X points
promotion to celebrate our 10 year anniversary on 10/10/10!" The
other managers say "Genius!" and there's lots of back slapping.
When the 10X points starts, the normally quiet bartop machines are
suddenly getting played at the $5 level. There are more W-2Gs than
usual (straining the floor staff) including some larger ones.
To you and me, this is no surprise. You offer $5 single line at 99.6
with 1% cashback, you're going to get APs playing it.
To the SunCoast management, this comes as a surprise and within a
couple hours, they're telling people to leave.
Now you might think the SunCoast managers are morons for not being
able to predict this. And I would agree with you. If you can't see
this coming, you're a moron who doesn't belong in casino management.
But what do these rocket scientists do? Put FIVE 10X coupons in the
coast connection.
And apparently, they're just as surprised by what happens as they were
the last time. So they go up to people playing the machines, tap them
on the shoulder and have security guards read them the trespass act
and escort them off the property.
HEY MORONS! IF YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE COMING TO PLAY WITH 10X POINTS,
STOP INVITING THEM WITH COUPONS, ADS, STREET-SIDE SIGNS AND MAILERS.
Stupid fucktards. How do you still have a job?
