A couple of years ago, twice I found a $20 in the middle of the casino parking garage. With no one around to claim, I pocketed it both times. Recently I found a $20 rite in the middle of a heavy traveled aisle. Another couple was 3 feet away, wife playing slots, husband behind her watching. I couldn't believe he hadn't seen it B4 me, but again I picked it up & waited a minute 4 someone to come looking 4 it. Nope, so I pocketed it. Also found a red chip rite next to my VP machine recently.
My last trip to Vegas, I had a conversation w/ 4Q bartender about this kinda find. I said I believe found money actually belongs to casino. He disagreed, but I think I'm rite.
BUT, the find I most remember...many, many years ago, the wife & I were playing minature golf. I think I was in the army & $10 was probably our entertainment budget 4 the month. There was another young couple about 1 hole ahead of us. I found a $10 sitting in the middle if the green as we walked up. I pocketed it altho my wife was undoubtedly rite that it had to have come from the couple ahead of us. To this day I regret that move.
I'm always findng coins, particularly in the casino as I guess I walk looking down. I'm a big believer in "lucky" pennies, & I don't believe they need to be face up...in fact I never heard that they had to be face up till many years after I heard about lucky pennies.
Now that mite B an interesting subjuct. How has doing something considered lucky, such as finding a penny affected your gambling day or session.
I also drag race a little, & my luckiest day ever @ the strip came after finding a penny rite outside my hotel room the morning I was headed to race. I've also had many many winning sessions after finding a penny. Not always, but seems to me more than what shud B normal.
