[vpFREE] South Point Monthly Mailers

I played fairly consistently at the South Point many month back. When I played, you got a monthly mailer based on the prior months play, 60K pts was $50/wk, 20K pts was 30/wk, ect. When I called the South Point yesterday, they mentioned they were now on a 3 month "earn" period for points to earn a mailer. Is the SP still sending the 50/wk, 30/wk, ect mailers out? Do you have to average 60K, 20K, ect over the course of the 3 month "earn" period to get the respective mailer? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've always been curious about what would happen in such a case,
particularly when the "all" is particularly high, such as when the one
at the South Point went over $100,000 a few years ago. I assume the
casino would start out trying to pay the sum of the 3 meters and then,
depending on how hard the player argued, probably eventually be
ordered to pay the "all," even if their intent was for it to be only
paid on a dealt. Assuming the player stands pat on a king high
straight flush, the "all" including being drawn to reduces the cycle
from 649,740 to 648,279 and out of 445 such jackpots, 1 will be drawn
to.

Similar occurence happened at Fiesta Henderson, many years ago.
The player was dealt four to a Royal and hit that Royal on ALL lines.
The machine locked up and the casino employees were tyring to decide IF they were going to pay her the DEALT ROYAL or not. Since the placard said, ALL,(not dealt) same as yours did, they DID end up giving her the dealt Royal rather than the sum of the 3 individual progressive jackpots.
1/47*1/47*1/47= 1/103,823 should be the chances of getting that Royal on all three lines.
You have a 1/47 chance of getting that card each time.

Thanks for the clarification. Sounds intriguing, and frankly a little more exciting than MS.

Now if only it shows up with appealing paytables.
