Think about how much harder it is to get 2,3 or 4 Aces when you are blocking one of the possibilities with a ten. Remember too it is a pretty rare event to get a royal when holding only 2 cards. Sometimes the ace-ten is a better hold when the royal pays more than 4000 coins, like a progressive for example.

You forgot to mention the moving scenery. It trumps the palace station by a longshot. However walking distractions don't help the hand per hour rate. Reasonable trade off IMHO

The 3/5 play FP JOB is gone too. They even took the 3/5 play 8/5 BP.

I guess HRH is out of my rotation. Sad. Loved the music and was lucky there - even got one last royal today as a parting shot on my way out.

I would have to imagine the average player is not an advantage player and just someone who is attracted by big amounts. That's why people play wheel and megabucks right? So the advertising message in that is come to stations where you can win 20g's not play for hours at a time. Last time I checked the Palace Station wasnt exactly a place I wanted to grind at for hours and hours.

Hi all--reading Stations' FB feed, and they just posted a photo of a
$20,000 Royal on a 5$ machine--paytable 4000-50-80-8-5-4-3-1-1
(underline added). No doubt it's a legit win guy had $125 left on the
machine when he hit...but how do people expect to win when they play
such machines?
Also why is Stations bragging about having great poker games, when this
game at this denomination is offered???

If you are the lowest M life card level, you will earn about .2% in comps and .1% in free play. Higher card levels earn a little more. Hosts can still give you comps over and above that.

I've just posted a strategy for the Kings or Better Joker progressive at the M for a 10,000 coin RF. Bob is not available to check my work so please consider this version 1. When he gets back from his road trip I'll have him check it and I'll post Version 2.

If anyone else wants to offer corrections and suggestion please feel free. KoB Joker is my weakest strategy. I have spent less than one month in twenty years playing them, and that was more than a decade ago.

I'm just posting this as an alternative to no strategy at all.
