Wtf? Am I losing my mind? lol Ok, sorry, but I'll be over there in about 3 hours and give it another look. Sorry for the false alarm. But even so, 9-5 DDB sucks unless it's a big jackpot.

And really, what are these casinos thinking? Were they losing their shirts on 9-6 DDB? I doubt that! What a bunch of weenies!

I agree that the DDB has been downgraded in all denominations, but the progressives looked normal to me. They weren't fixed. The RF jackpots were in order $1030.82, $2072.29, $4494.58, $8827.76 and $20,039.15.

I have not been there myself today and I don't anyone who has played these
particular machines today. I was just passing on info I received by phone
about which machines are stickered, the Multi Strikes that have 8/5 BP and
the Wheel Poker Quick Quads.

I know there's enough bad news about NV but I have to share this with the
group. Even though NV has been going through an awful downturn, my wife & I
still consider it a place to retire to -- northern NV around Carson City.
What surprised me is that Money Rates ranked it as the worst state to retire
to in spite of its low tax rate. What kicked it down to last are the high
crime & unemployment rates. Even so, Money Rates says every area has
something going for it. Naturally if you're a gambler, this is the place. Also
sites like Zillow give plenty of local statistics about crime rates,
schools, etc.

I've had reports the stickers are no longer valid and they simply haven't taken them off yet. This is not confirmed!

Bob and I can't agree on the team's scrambled strategy test I was going to post as a contest for our next weeks show.

Basically I took an old team test and tried to re-write it in Bob's nomenclature. I apparently failed, so Bob wants no part of it.

I'll be posting it Monday on my radio page in original team nomenclature, which will make it essentially incomprehensible to anyone that hasn't read my book. I'm sorry about this, but Bob's not bugging. I think He's so cute when he's stubborn. Anyway...

I'll still be giving away the show tickets and $100 site credit to the highest score...and I'll post a strategy legend.

[vpFREE] My new record

 

Awhile back I wrote about what a lousy 2010 I had particularly in Vegas altho playing pretty close to 100% games . I've more than made up for last years losses & Jan trip to Vegas was second best ever. I'm hopefully gonna keep that going w/ another trip in coupla weeks.

But a week ago, locally really knocked my socks off. Local casino, 10 play 25c. About 7 hands after starting, held 3/royal - got one. About 20 hands later held 2/royal - got one. Another 20 or hands, held 2/ royal - got one. Another 20 or so hands, held 2/royal - nope, only ended up w/ 4, but I've never even come close to this B4...I'm not sure I've ever gotten 3 in a trip let alone a session. Best part is after staying the nite & playing probably 6 or so more hours, I left w/ most of it. What amazed me more than WHAT I got was HOW I got them. Now if I can only get that elusive dealt royal while playing multi-hand, something I've never had, along w/ s royal on complete redeal.

And this isn't even an Apr. Fool's joke.
