Thanks H. F. I booked about 2 hours ago. I was fortunate to get 2 tickets from Pittsburgh to Vegas, front larger seats out and return seats emergency exit with more leg room. (premium priced) $130. round per person + $25 per 40 lb bag. I was happy.

I heard there some specials on rooms at some nice places ranging $45 ~ $65 a nite. Does that sound right to any of you? I'm looking. I will post later and let all the folks how I made out. Just started seriously looking for rooms, I'm booked in air.

As usual, I can use any leads for ways to cut hotel bills. My nerves are shattered, as in AC i always stay comp RFB with 2 bedroom suite. I have hosts who are attempting to get me connected. One casino host and one who books cruse ships. I'm so broke up about this I might end up sleeping in washing machine box under a bridge . I can always sleep in rental car too.

Just kidding about appliance box......Jeep

Re: [vpFREE] Re: dancer/munchkin radio show, no show

Part of the confusion may be that we changed stations a few months ago. The show airs live on Tuesday mornings at 10am PST at vegasallnetradio.com. I then post the show within a few hours at youtube, and richardmunchkin.com. It takes a bit longer but also gets posted at bobdancer.com.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: dancer/munchkin radio show, no show

I know that the shows now airs at, I believe, 9:30AM, perhaps on a
Tuesday, on a pod cast, as opposed to the old time slot in the early evening on a
Thursday as was the norm in the past. Maybe that is the differentiation?

you may be confused because it also says "Cartwright" just like the week
before, only this is another one, which I think was pre-recorded.

Was this week cancelled?

If you are interested in renting initially I highly recommend contacting Corey thru the VP Exchange (vacation rental) his phone, fax and email are listed. He assisted us when we were house hunting and has a selection of areas to recommend and rent (condos, houses etc). Let him know where you saw his info

Sincerely
Sherry

[vpFREE] San Manuel Progressives

Stopped by San Manuel Casino in Highlands California for the first time in a couple of years. I noticed as usual the $1 8/5 JoB progressive was positive with a royal around $9600. The royal pays the progressive jackpot for bets ranging from 5 to 50 coins per hand. I wonder if a lot of customers are dumb enough to play this game for more than 5 coins at a time and that is why it is so frequently positive. I haven't noticed, is this common in Las Vegas?

> Has anyone had any experience in Vegas with AC top tier card gaining good tier at signup.

No. Haven't heard of any.

> Where is good place to find coupon offers.

The American Casino Guide and Las Vegas Advisor have good coupon books but they are mostly ones like 2 for 1 buffets. Some are a little better.

> I even wondered about newspaper coupons. I've seen in past things like $100 for room and $100 free play with sign up.

Haven't seen anything that good in the newspaper for a long time. Occasionally I get emails from casinos offering free play if I pay for a room. But these are from casinos where I'm an established player.

[vpFREE] Place to stay in Vegas

If you want to buy a house, I recommend the area I live in, Spring valley. We live about 1 mile west of the Palms, near Jones and Flamingo. There is a section here (just east of Jones) that is very nice. Not many houses for sale, people stay here for years. But there are a few. Close to shopping, library, Senior Citizen center, 2 bus lines, post office. Very quiet, yet convenient.

For renting a house, there are a lot of rentals, and you might want to look at Sun City where there are always rental homes, if you are over 55. You usually can also get access to all the recreation facilities when you rent. Not as convenient to the strip, but you are near Suncoast, Red Rock, etc.

There are also some condos in the Spring Valley area, near the Orleans. I think Jean Scott lives in Opulence there if I remember rightly.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: Horseshoe Cincinnati

This is what I am talking about. Boyd properties go by this..time in keno lounge, time on machine, and etc. Not amount spent. I spend little, but rewards are great.

I understand the concept of ADT, but the "and time on the machine" ( I presume number of hours on a individual day) and the "not coin in" part, I don't understand.
According to one of the links you provided, it said that the casino thinks it has a better shot at winning your money if the patron plays longer hours on one given day at a lower denom than if he played at much higher denom for a shorter period of time. (He did not seem to address paytables). It does not make sense to me that I could go and play quarters for 10 hours, putting through 10K, and get better marketing offers than playing 40K for two hours at $5 denom.
I appreciate your posts, and would like to understand this further. I came across the "time on machine" concept for the first time last year at a non-Vegas, non-CZR property.
