Re: [vpFREE] exvp Fremont Street coupons

I also looked for these coupons since I had used them in the past. The only information I could find was that they were not available at this time.

I was downtown last week and in March. The zipline is expanding and there are some large blocked off areas of construction in the middle of Fremont. Makes for a tight squeeze past the side where Golden Gate is located.

I saw Gordie Brown this time at the Golden Nugget. It was a good show but anyone under 40 or 45 may not enjoy it since he impersonates mostly "old school" performers. I enjoyed it and knew all the references, but the 20-ish young man seated next to me didn't know lots of them.

I thought the overhead light show on Fremont St started at 7 pm on weeknights, but it did not run at that time on the Wednesday night I was there. I waited until 7:15 until giving up, along with many other people, we were wondering what happened. Have a nice trip.

RE: [vpFREE] Re: First Time Cruising w/ Casino.../NJ video poker regs

For those who have concerns about the randomness of video poker in New Jersey, the following link is considered to be the definitive answer to the concern. I will note that the answer to Question 7 is now different since Nevada regulations state that any machine manufactured in Nevada must be legal in the jurisdiction where it is shipped to. Current Nevada regulations do not currently state that all video poker machines manufactured in Nevada must be a random deal.

RE: [vpFREE] Re: First Time Cruising w/ Casino...

My understanding of New Jersey gaming regulations is that New Jersey does not distinguish between slots and video poker (as Nevada does). However, it has been policy since the beginning of gaming in New Jersey that video poker was a random deal. Any deviation from this long-standing policy would require Commission approval and would most likely get a fair amount of attention.

Easy fella..I meant no disrespect.

I can't quote NJ reg by rote but I know that it is stated in their regs that the cards have to dealt as if it were done by a "live" dealer.
As for NYS I am only stating what the regs are in regards to their VLT machines.
Perhaps you should have also read the other replies on this topic which seem to concur with my observations.

[vpFREE] Re: First Time Cruising w/ Casino...

lfcmja besmirshes my reputation when he says I'm wrong about NJ regulations with regard to vp and when
he claims I am mistaken about New York State 'vp'. I never lie. Please lfcmja show me where in NJ regs it states
undealt cards must have an equal probability of being dealt. I was told there was no such wording in ther
regulations. I will gladly admit to being wrong, if I am. As regards to NYS 'by any other name a rose is still a rose'. You don't
call it cheating because it is in their regs. So if NYS or any other place stated that cheating was legal and is not cheating you would agree.
How Nixon like 'when the president does something it is not illegal'. I wonder what the patron in NYS would think about playing this
'non-cheating' game as he is getting crushed! Would lfcmja think serves him right for thinking that states shouldn't allow rigged games.
