I completely agree with derangedmutant's cogent reasons why the Palms should keep their 10 FPDW machines, particularly #3. I know from experience that there's nothing like a royal in the casino to get a group of three up to Alize for an $800+ dinner; a group that can't get comped because it plays the wrong machines; a group that takes two rooms when there are so many vacancies in Las Vegas; a group that spends $200+ a night at Little Buddha when there are no royals; a group that plays at negative EV after dinner and drinks; and a group that feels terrible about deciding to take their business elsewhere in the future.

I would guess it's Aria. I hadn't been in there for over a year since they promo-banned me, but they had a $100 8/5 Bonus prog last time I was there. It could also be Bellagio, I suppose, but I don't remember that prog being anywhere near that level last time I was there.

Damn it. I guess it goes to prove that you should still scout places that promo-banned you.

Looks like a hundred dollar Bonus Poker progressive. And it's positive EV too! Hey, someone let me know when it reaches $600,000 again. Thanks. lol

Where is it, by the way? Anyone know?

Re: [vpFREE] Biggest VP Hit?

That's a nice pic (and I never knew Huck was a VP player too), but I believe
denoms go up to $5,000, so I doubt that is the biggest hit.

It looks like someone saw your question and reported some specific Eastside Cannery 25c 8/5 BP locations to vpFREE2.

A comment was also added saying be cautious because there are some 8/5 BP there that pay 30 for all quads, lowering the return from 99.17% to 98.48%.

I have no objection to it being discussed. I'll be talking to him
before the show, so I'll bring up the subject with him.

Closer to the action I think, without looking it up. I've never been there but isn't GVR WAY south?

[vpFREE] Open question to 007

This is an open question to 007. Although I know your name, I'm not positive you have identified yourself on this forum namewise, so I will use your "handle."

On August 11, Bob Nersesian will be a guest on the radio show "Gambling with an Edge." There are a zillion things to talk about, but one of them could be your lawsuit with Jerry's Nugget --- which has been in the newspaper and has been discussed somewhat on vpFREE --- and Nersesian is your lawyer in that lawsuit.

If you want us to ask him about the lawsuit and related matters, you're going to have to tell us so, and also to tell Nersesian that you want him to talk about it. Unless you do that, he will likely decline comment based on attorney-client privilege or somesuch. I'm sure there are still limits to what he will and will not talk about, but if you give him the OK he'll talk about more than if you don't. (If he bills you for this, you're on your own!)

There will be no lack of things to talk about with Nersesian, so we don't "need" this subject. Do what's right for you and your case. But if we do ask him about it, one question will likely be based on the following post you made:

I was surprised at something my attorney is saying about my case. I hope I've understood it correctly. A policeman/woman may legally detain someone whom he or she believes has committed a crime and it wouldn't be false imprisonment, but a private individual may only detain someone who has actually committed a crime or the detention is false imprisonment. "Probable cause" is irrelevant to a private individual. That I was found to not have committed a crime necessarily means that I was falsely imprisoned, even if there had been probable cause to believe I had committed a crime.

[vpFREE] Talent

One of the best quotes I've ever read. In today's Bob Dancer LVA article he quotes an interview with Doyle Brunson from Gambling Wizards where HE quotes Benny Binion. This is beautiful!

"If you got talent, Las Vegas is the land of milk and honey. If you don't, it's a burial ground."
