It's been years since I had any contact with Casino Player --- and back then they probably had a bit more integrity than they do now because Adam Fine was still alive. Even so, Harrah's was their biggest advertiser and the magazine had a philosophy of only saying nice things about big advertisers. Probably still does.

For example, in their annual "Best of" issue, usually the awards would be "owned" by Harrah's in each market. It's possible that their readers actually think that CET properties have the best video poker in Las Vegas --- I suppose. I'm not sure if that says more about the readers of that magazine or the way the magazine editors creatively counted the ballots.

[vpFREE] Re: e-wallet

I suspect you're playing online at an offshore casino and worrying about cashing out. Your casino should send you a check by Fed Ex or a courier service. The check will not have any indication that it is from an offshore casino, so your US bank will accept it OK. This is how it should work. Just ask the casino what its procedures are.

[vpFREE] Beware Milne casinos N.J.

I would immediately contact the N.J. Casino Control Commission as well as sending a copy of your letter to the a resident of Caesars Entertain, net and include copies of the letter you received and your screenshots and clearly explain that you believe that video poker should be dealt from a SINGLE 52 card deck and that this online double dealing would be a total disregard of NJ gaming regulations.

(Also write anyone else you want such as Poker magazines, Casino Player, N.J. Newspapers, N.J. Legislators. I would! I would be outraged. Good luck and let us know what u hear.)

By the way, I have never trusted online gambling and never will. Not even "legalized."

<< If you play the regular games, single line video poker, then the big
jackpot is the royal flush (maybe sometimes Aces with a kicker or royal
deuces) and most casinos will tolerate one royal per trip, so the
solution is to walk if you hit a royal. On the multiplays and multiplier
games the big hit is a dealt hand or big multiplier hand and probably
exceeds the casino's tolerance level anyway, so on those games you're
pretty much playing until you get kicked out. >>

Thank you, this is a really interesting perspective.
