I played in the high limit room at the Gold Coast today. The machines were giving the 5x point multiplier.

Personally, I have no idea, but someone reported to vpFREE2.com that points can be used for free play at the rate of 0.10%. Comps are also earned at a rate of 0.20%. Maybe this varies depending on what you play?

[vpFREE] Gift cards

 

Well this is confusing. The link Jean Scott posted is different from the one I found and seems more current, and no Forum shops or apple stores listed. So if that is the case, best bet is to use the new cards for food or spa or tips. Electronics at gift shops are much higher in cost than in stores but a possibility.

One question, can gift cards be sold back to TR counters if you are unhappy with them for say points? (If unused)

Good to hear.  I think the Coast wide 7X multiplier was too much for them to stomach. Five times points for vp seems to be their tolerance level.  I'm glad they temporarily excluded the machines rather then downgrading all the paytables permanently leaving the casino a wasteland ala Suncoast.

Yes. All the no-multiplier stickers have been removed from the Gold Coast high limit room machines. I didn't test them myself, but the slot attendant said that these machines are once again eligible for multipliers.

Right at least ten days before the end of the month.  There were no signs in the casino so I played my usual coin in to get the max number of cards then was told I was SOL when I went to the booth.

Be sure you are reading the list for the PARTICULAR CARD  you have.  Go to https://prepaid.cardgistics.com/cust/app/caesars/cgift1/359 and by scrolling down the WHOLE page you will see pictures of 3 different cards you might have – all with different rules on expiration and places to use them.  The link given in the e-mail below is for a different card.

The above link is what IA came up with when I did a search for total reward gift cards. You can enter a state and see what is available. According to this list a lot of forum shop shops are included including Apple store. It makes no mention of 2:1, so sounds like 1:1. Until someone checks for sure, who knows if this is accurate. The old cards were discover, the new ones apparently MasterCard.

With the bonus system as is if you play 2500 or 5000 points it is pretty easy to accumulate points more quickly. I just hit 250000 points, good for a second $500 card. I'm now using up TR credits for free play and will use the card for food comps.

By the way u can no longer cash out more than $500 a day in free play. There may be some leeway though, Caesars let me do $700 by mistake, then said my husband could do $700. Odd.

I asked my host to send the gift card when I hit 200000 points, and the card arrived in less than a week.
