Not sure about sitting idle, there are days at GVR that all of them are occupied.

I always enjoy misscraps' informative reports, Valerie's post had merit, and Jean's post made a lot of sense--even though I AM interested in gourmet dining.

I'm curious. Every so often you write these posts about the LVH (or whatever it's called now) - and they really read like advertisements for it rather than a regular post about it.

Rooms are Motel 6 quality! The 2 'suites' they have are extended bedrooms!
The coffee slop is just that.

Rooms are FANTASTIC, coffee shop is good. You CAN NOT take alcohol up to your
room, it MUST come from room service $$$. Casino is clean and busy. VP is
Class 3 with bad paytables.

Whoever said that you can't put polish on $hit, never visited this slothouse!

"If you tell the truth, you never have to remember anything"
Mark Twain

I only know about the casino. It's awful!!! No good video poker. 8/5 dbl
dbl .And other low paytable VP And little at that. Slot machines are money
vacuums.
No complementary drinks. Drink prices are expensive and not even discounted
for gamblers.Comps are minimal.
I guess it's because of no competition and of course the greed factor.
Highly NOT recommended.

Re: [vpFREE] TAMPA CASINO

I visit Hard Rock Tampa about once a week. It's a large, clean, nice casino to visit if you are a slot player. All the latest slots. VP is limited (about 50 machines among over 1000 slot machines). Table games are all card games -- no craps or roulette.

I live 45 minutes from the Hard Rock and visit there 2 or 3 times a month.

I play only the $2 9/6 JOB. There are 5 or 6 uprights in the high limit room and 2 at the Center Bar on Bally Gamemakers.

Rooms are OK, but bathrooms are not very private, with a half wall next to the bedroom.

As to restaurants, The coffee shop (The Green Room) is ok for breckfast, but mediocre for lunch and dinner. The Hard Rock Cafe is noisy, food is good, and expensive. The buffet is good, and includes sushi and dim sum. Often a long line.

Good luck,

Les

I have been to the Hard Rock Tampa & have found nothing good to play. I have not done a thorough detailed search. It is a Seminole Indian casino. It is very crowded. I believe all Florida casins are Indian run.

her days in Atlantic City. She is anything but a shill, calling them as
