[vpFREE] Re: VP updates, AZ Charlie's Boulder & Sam's Town

Sam's Town - I agree with the two who answered this already. Take another look at the machines on both sides of the long bank near the buffet where you found the 5c FPDW. Some of the machines should have 25c FPDW. Also I've seen a 9/7 DB progressive near the arcade and move theaters but it's 25c not $1.

Arizona Charlie's Boulder - What denominations of 8/5 BP were you looking for? And did you look in the locations listed in vpFREE2?

[vpFREE] Re: Bob Dancer classes and Part 2

Well my computer got infected reading Dancers column near the end of July. It was a terrible virus that completely locked up my computer. I tried for 10 hours to get rid of the virus and almost had all the virus cured but a bit remained and finally I took it to a shop to fix. 75 dollars later my computer is ok but I am shy about going back to his site.

The LA Advisor site also gives me a warning so I have not been back there either.

[vpFREE] Re: Poor customer service at Resorts AC

"Customer service representative" and "desk clerk" used in your msg.
Boothling t'is more accurate. Glad you got it squared away. Lo mein is much better than cole slaw.

I hoped to have a free trip following promotions including one at Resorts I would later be informed of - according to a desk clerk the promotion, only for new slot club members was 'buy any food item in a casino restaurant, return the receipt, and get $20 in free play.' I asked for clarification: Any food item? Any casino restaurant? The rep said yes and I was on my way.

The customer service representative told me that my receipt could not be honored. I asked for an explanation and received none besides a repeat of 'this can't be honored.' I protested, informing her that I was told any food item purchase with receipt would give me $20 in slot play. Here was the receipt and I was being denied my $20 in play. The rep then called a manager who came minutes later and informed me that she will honor my request for $20 although this normally is not done (???).

[vpFREE] Bar Casinos for locals was Re: LVRJ: Dotty's

As far as the 5 lauglinlocals.com bars, post the question on vpree laughlin daughter board.

Website has photos and the joints got a player's club. Been driving by them for years but never went in one.

Didn't realize Dotty's had so many locations. Worst website evah.

Don't see many cars in the parking lots. Mostly drive by during day.

I thought the qualification/penalty period was the previous 3 cash back periods versus 4 calendar months, but I could be wrong. In the past, W-2G bonuses drawings were always 1 in 10 when I counted what was posted on the bulletin board.

[vpFREE] Virus on Bob Dancer website

bobdancer.com is hosted by the Las Vegas Advisor website. Anthony Curtis has issued the following statement about this:
We've been under a severe hacker attack. Winning battle and all is clean as of now, but they seem to find ways back in every night. Good news is we keep shutting off access every time they get back in. We'll eventually have it completely sealed. Safe at this moment. Best advice is to heed your virus-detector software.

Re: [vpFREE] Jean Scott's Frugal Vegas LVA BLOG - 7 AUG 2013

I see nothing wrong with it as long as the merchants do not have a liberal return policy.

It should also be known that Mohegan Sun is continuing some of the odd
practices of the old Resorts like requiring green-chip play at the
tables in order to be upgraded to Coronoa beer from the standard swill,
whatever that is.
