[vpFREE] Video Poker in Singapore

Does anyone know whether there is any playable video poker in Singapore? It looks, from the Sands site that there isn't any VP there, or am I wrong. I noted that for citizens or permanent residents of Singapore, there is a $100 per day entry fee to the casino, good for only 24 hours. Sheesh!

[vpFREE] Minor Changes at the Majestic Star 2 (Gary IN)

Two minor changes:

1. #6455 The $5 machine with NSUD, 8-5 Bonus and 9-6 DDB is no longer a
progressive but the games are otherwise unchanged. Database has been updated
for this.

2. The 25c 8-5DDB progressive is now seeded at $1,000 rather than $1,200. Of
course this game is very rarely playable and does not appear in the
database.

Re: [vpFREE] Re: XVP Fox Car Rental

The filthy-on-the-outside cars are usually a product of a dust storm the
night before, and not having enough time to clean all the cars. In fact,
Hertz and someone else put out signs when this happens apologizing for the
dirtiness of their cars. I rent cars from Phoenix all the time so I deal
with this all the time.

But I've rented from Fox before and found they have some pretty bad customer
service in general.

I used Fox for the first time in May based on favorable pricing. If you have been using Dollar Express you may find Fox's hard sell for insurance and upgrades annoying. The desk agent will tell you they are not in the insurance business then spend the next 15 minutes trying to get you to buy insurance. My agent expressed shock and disbelief that I did not jump on an "upgrade" from a Malibu to a Taurus for an additional $10 per day on a two week rental. All of the cars I saw were filthy. I picked up a bottle of glass cleaner at a convenience store to clean the windows on mine. The car I selected was mechanically sound enough for the 40k miles it had. The cars available in my class all had 35k to 45k miles. The double shuttle trip was not a big problem as there was less waiting than I expected.

I may use them again but only if the savings is substantial.

[vpFREE] Re: A Hypothetical Question

I remember this thread from back in May.
Looks to me you are seeking a "non-pro, exciting, high level pyschological bankroll" experience with a 100% EV (including comps) except for when the "trip is horrible."

That sounds like us with well over 100 trips to Vegas from Boston. Nowadays you have to be a local to be an advantage gambler in Vegas.

Check out popinjays's trip report message and youtube link: Message #116923. These joints are the places where one can have their VP cake and eat it too but they don't meet your (or our) expectations when on "vacation."

There's plenty of flat top plays at nicer joints. Green Valley Ranch, Main Street Station, LVHilton, Red Rock but when/if we become locals, the photo's in popinjays' you tube vid will be included in the venues.

Will the value of existing points, including 600 Fiesta and Wildfire
points being worth $1, remain the same, or might they pull a
Terrible's and reduce it?
