I was a gold card with 5 mil points. I used to get a 25% discount for buffet
and 600 pts for $1 in food. I found out that it is now 1000 pts for $1 in
food and there is no longer a 25% discount for gold. You need to be platinum
to get 25% discount. Gold used to be 500 base points. Now it is 40,000 base
points.
you get 3x points at all times, but your level is based on tier points, and
tier points are 1 pt per $1 coin in. The brochure makes no mention of
positive EV games having different tier point requirements.
so with 600 pts the old way, triple points now, that is like 1800 point but
it takes 1000 pts for food now, so it is really like a 1.8x point rate
instead of 3x.
My old points were converted to the new levels, so my 5 mil pts are now 8.1
mil. so at least they did now lower their value.
Unsure how my fiesta points will be combined. as of today they were not on
my stations card. did not goto fiest to check to see how my point balace was
adusted.
