And then there is a 3000 point cap on VP multipliers, so that would mean this would be a short time, positive expectation game as well.
Each of the Coast properties senior days have different parameters. At Gold Coast, on multiplier days 10,000 base points (or 50,000 total points on a 5x day) for video poker and 100,000 base points for slots are multiplied. If you play $5 or higher, it's indeed a shor time, but if you play 25c or lower, you can be there all day without reaching the maximum. They have a LOT of 99.5%+ machines and none over 100%. Sam's Town (on Thursdays) has no caps on points on multiplier days. They have fewer 99.5%+ machines than Gold Coast has, but some of the ones they have return more than 100% --- 25c FPDW, 25c and $1 10/7 DB --- which require $2 coin-in for one point. If you include the value of the senior drawing at Sam's Town, 25c FPDW is NEVER the highest EV 25c play on Thursdays. One or more of the four separate 9/7 DB progressives will always return more EV-wise --- although 9/7 DB progressive is MUCH harder to play well than FPDW. Suncoast offers very few decent games --- but their inventory includes 9/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe up to $5. If you have the gall to play this game for these stakes on a big multiplier day, however, you will be kicked out. It's a strange way to run a casino --- but that's the way it's done there. I haven't played at the Orleans for a while, but the Senior Day there was only 4x points and except for one bank of quarter Triple Play progressives (where the only reasonable game to play is 9/7 DB) there is nothing really playable at only 4x points. Maybe their inventory has changed. Bob
