Re: [vpFREE] How Important Is The Bottom Line ? - Recommendations for locals on/off strip ??

I think I do too, and my criteria are much the same--good atmosphere and
good food. I have to admit, that's one of the main reasons I've stuck with
Stations...Red Rock is has a great ambience, and there are plenty of good
food options there where I can redeem points for a great meal. Compared to
the smoke smell and food offerings at other "locals" casinos, I think that's
where Red Rock comes out ahead.

However, that said, with my mailer being cut significantly, I'm looking for
alternatives.

I'm curious, can anyone recommend what they think is the best STRIP and the
best OFF STRIP casinos for LOCALS in the following categories:

1) Ambience and Quality of Food

2) Offers (i.e., bounce back, free play, comps, etc.) for LOCALS.

3) Playable Games (i.e., 8/5 Bonus, 9/6 JOB, etc...in this case, "playable"
might not equal "positive", since we're considering other "enjoyment"
factors and not just profitability).

4) Overall - i.e., "The Bottom Line", as Grumpy puts it.

For me, in my VERY LIMITED experience trying different casinos, I think
it's:

1) Strip - Planet Hollywood (?), Off Strip - Red Rock

2) Strip - Wynn (only one I've tried), Off Strip - Red Rock (until recent
mailer cuts)

3) Strip - Planet Hollywood (8/5 Bonus), Off Strip - Red Rock

4) Strip - Wynn, Off Strip - Red Rock

Subject: [vpFREE] How Important Is The Bottom Line ?

Howdy

I am a .25 JB player most of the time with over half a mil put thru
annually. I used to play at an AC casino that was very generous with their
offers.
Though their buffet was terrible and their club was even worse I played
their
because I was way ahead in the money department. The ambience sucked too.

Their offers and CB began to dwindle so I sought out another place to play.
I chose the Borgata because the place was top class in food and overall
appearance. The stickler is they are among the least generous when it comes
to
slot dollars and all other offers. There is no cash back at all.

I continue to go simply because they inventory my machines in abundance and
the food is excellent. The floor servers are easy on the eyes also.

My question is would you be willing to sacrifice better offers for a
classier casino that you enjoyed frequenting? I do.
