I received the anticipated notice yesterday detailing the cashback beginning April lst. Unfortunately, there was no credit venue to convert our
existing points. Boo-hoo!
Upward and onward starting next month but it will be many a day before we can use our existing points that for many of us are in the millions.
They hinted at gift cards for old points but right now its mainly rooms, food, Bass Pro Shop,and miscellaneous from the lobby gift shop. In a similar
example to the Palms "before cash" points, its quite difficult to use points for food, gift shop items,jewelry, etc.
The main consideration now is how this will affect their monthly rewards mailers. It also figures that multiplier days will be few and far between versus
the past where birthday anniversaries were 7x, 8x and 9x up to 100K. Meanwhile the M, South Point, and now Silverton seem to be at the consistent
0.333% with the South Point sweetening the pot this month by making the points viable to buy $50 gas cards for $25 cash from points. Very timely
indeed!
