They even go so far as to have you play every different game so that you leave multipliers on each.
One player I know told me about a time that one of these scumbags offered to show her how to play. He basically wanted to take her through every game and told her that the game gets cold as soon as it gives you anything decent on the deal and that you have to move to the next game at that point. Once you go through all the games on the machine, he advised moving to the next machine and doing the same. Because she was curious to hear his "sell" she followed his advice as he coached her to play. After going through a few games, she asked him, "What about all those multipliers that I'm leaving on the game?" He said that they were gimmicks trying to get you to stay on the game when it is programmed to get cold so that you lose. She told him that in case, she'll just play one more hand on each game at 5 coins so she doesn't get sucked into a "cold" machine.
He then gave her an indignant look, probably thinking how dare she waste his time if she knew the scam he was trying to pull on her. Sounds like a real piece of crap. Apparently he got up and spoke to a person standing nearby. Most likely, as he is coaching the victim to leave multipliers on the game and move down the line from machine to machine, there is probably at least one person to just come along and play off the multipliers as soon as he gets the victim to leave the machine and move on to the next.
You just can't help but hope horrible things happen to a**holes like that.
