Okay, so I checked again. Hold the 3 Aces and one of the 3s and there will be 47 possible outcomes. 44 will come up 3OAK, 2 will come up Full House, and 1 will be the Ace to give you Aces with the kicker 3. Calculate the returns for all those outcomes (15 x 44, 2x 45, etc.), divide by 47 and you get an average return of 101.0638 credits.
Hold only the Aces and there will be 1081 possible outcomes. 968 3OAKs, 67 Full houses, 36 four Aces/ no kicker and 10 Aces with a kicker. Calculate the returns for all these possibilities, divide by 1081 and you get an average return of 106.5079 credits.
All that being said, I suspectt lots of players eagerly forgo the 5 average credit disadvantage to go for the big one.
